When a Great Product Goes Bad
Here's my take on all the 1-star reviews for these briefs and why:I initially bought a 3-pack through amazon.ca (I'm in Toronto), absolutely love them; then found them here on the U.S. site for much cheaper so purchased them again through a U.S. friend's account.Although the tags of both sport the same product number (R/N# 97404) the better-fitting first set are made in Thailand and are 82% cotton/8% spandex, while the U.S.-sourced briefs are made in Bangladesh and are 100% cotton. The first set (Thailand ones) sport the classic 2Xist "pouch" and fit the thighs of us bigger guys perfectly, maintaining their shape all day; while the newer designed Made-in-Bangladesh versions have a much smaller pouch and lose their shape in the legs within an hour or two of wear. Those of us that are fans of the classic 2(x)IST brief need to email the company's head office in Dayton NJ ([email protected]) and voice our disappointment at the loss of the original product.

Oof
What happened to 2xist? The boxer-briefs I got from them a few years ago are insanely high quality. Anything I have worn from them lately has been trash. Better off buying something extremely cheap, because that's the quality you're getting with these briefs.

Great quality and support
My husband is a gasoline welder and climbs in and out of holes and trenches in the ground all day and as a result, he was pulling his groin muscles. I did some research on the matter and was told that good supporting underwear would help. I bought the 2xst briefs and have bought nothing but 2xst for 6 years now and my husband hasnโt pulled a groin muscle since. These briefs are comfortable, well made, long lasting and great for support. My son also wears them and is also impressed.

Comfortable, Good Fit and...Colorful
As with many men, I'm accustomed to the underwear I grab from my drawer and wear everyday. These were neither the brand nor the color. But they may soon be. Fit is good, briefer than their predecessors which is fine with me and the color.....well, in a drawer full of white and black, hard to notice them. The main thing any man cares about is...are these comfortable and these are. They conform to me without clinging. Easy to sit in for a long period-think about it, this is a point that really counts. Apparently I like them as I just ordered three more pair in three different colors.

I've ordered these briefs before and enjoyed them. But I bought these in May and these recent ones are smaller, and the fly is so small I can barely get three fingers into them in order use the fly. The fly hole is too small on both ends, so after navigating this narrow fabric, there's no room to find my stuff in there. I resorted to pulling these briefs up from one of the legs so I could accomplish my goal.

no actual pouch like previous versions of their boxers
I have been wearing 2(x)ist boxer briefs for somewhere between 5 and 10 years. Previous versions of these boxers had a different seam pattern that created an actual pouch for you to hang out in. It allowed the boys to be cool and not pressed tight to your body while wearing boxer briefs. They were game changers for me when they came out. This new version does not have the pouch area and keeps the boys smooshed up against you all day. These would be great for sports but not every day use when you are expecting a pouch. I am giving these two stars because they are well made but not like their old version.

Thin fabric brief
I'm going to go along with a few others on here. I have bought this brand for more than 20 years and this quality level that I received is not the same. It's not a bad boxer brief but it's not the same quality that I've enjoyed in the past.

Most comfortable underwear he has ever worn
My husband bought a pack of these boxer briefs last year and now he won't wear anything else. He told me that he wishes he had known about these before because they are the most comfortable underwear he has ever tried. He even asked for more for Christmas this year! Who asks for underwear for Christmas?! (And yes, he did ask for new socks too, and got them as well!) I have to say that my husband gives the 2(x)ist boxer brief 2 thumbs up.

I have only worn each pair once and they were fine. As they are 100% cotton it remains to be seen if they hold their shape after repeated washings. Am happy at the moment.

Be Aware of Product Differences: "Stretch" vs "Essentials" Boxer Briefs
Careful, you might be purchasing the wrong product on this listing:These 100% cotton 2xist boxer briefs are NOT the very popular "Stretch" models, but are in fact their "Essentials" briefs, which appear the same and are both sold in popular black 3-packs -- note that the listing doesn't specify "Stretch" or "Essentials" -- if you're a fan of the Stretch briefs like me, you will absolutely hate the Essentials, they lack the popular "Supportive Contour Pouch" and lose their snugness after the first couple hours of wear. Here is the proper link for the Stretch boxer-briefs:https://www.amazon.ca/ist-3-Pack-Stretch-Boxer-Medium/dp/B00LNN854Q/ref=sr_1_14?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1496257697&sr=1-14&nodeID=8604903011&psd=1&keywords=2xist+mens+underwear

My fav underwear
I like the fit.. these are the only brand and style of underwear I own. They are simple but well designed. I had been buying them for years at Century 21 department store in New York. Now that I can find them online from Amazon in Canada. I will stop wasting valuable time shopping for underwear when I visit the Big Apple.
