Cuts thru 500mcm easy. I’ve cut a lot of wire already and hands down I’ll buy these again. Why would you pay $250 and up for the same tool.!

Cut through my 4/0 welding cable smooth, quick and easy! Well made and has a good finish. Comfortable handles. Some minor complaints were registered by others about the tool only ratcheting 1 or 2 clicks at a time. Apparently they don't understand that it it was 4 clicks per stroke with the same blade configuration that your arms would have to do twice the work to make a cut! Remember that this tool cuts very large wire and has to be built for leverage against the greater force large wire takes to cut. I am very impressed with the quality and function and for the price I consider it a bargain.

These are actually the best cutters online that you could probably find that I know of so far for the price to cut big wire. 0AWG it cuts through it like butter.. having those long handles really helps with leverage and I’m 100% satisfied with them. Only thing is the first pair I had the spring came loose and eventually it wasn’t ratchet but Amazon took care of it. Give me a refund. He actually sent me a new pair and didn’t charge me so overall I’m very happy. Second pair are holding up great which I believe are the new model! Thank you. Actually bought a backup pair just recently I’m waiting for it to come in the mail.

I've used it to cut 3/0 cable and it worked fine. There's no instructions and it took me a minute to figure out you have to open the handles all the way to release the jaws so you can open or close them manually. I mostly use them to cut #2 or 3 wire because I'm losing strength in my hands and it's getting hard for me to use non ratcheting cutters.

It came in on time, and when I recieved it I though it would be a cheap,one time use thing, because the price was so low. But I was pleasantly surprised that this was a heavy duty cutter. I have used it daily since I got it and it is cutting just as great today as when I first recieved it, thank you

This cutter is great. I used this recently to cut 500 MCM copper. It went right through no difficulties. I’ve use it on smaller copper wire too, like 3/0 to 350’s. Cut through like butter. I haven’t cut any aluminum, but I’m sure it would be fine. I’ve seen some reviewers complaining about the ratchet clicking one time per handle pull. It didn’t seem to be an issue to me. I don’t do feeder work every day, but this is perfect for me. I liked it so much, that I bought a second one for my son after using it. $40 vs $300 for a Klein ratchet cutter- it’s a no brainer. Comes with a nice zipper case too. If it fails at some point, I’ll buy another one. You can’t go wrong with this tool.

If u need to cut cable or pipe that is too thick to cut with regular cutters or snips, then this tool is for u. It takes all of the struggle and frustration out of the equation. With this ratchet device, u will be able to complete the task with ease. It will cut thru thick cable/pipe quickly and easily. This is perfect for cutting aluminum, copper, etc.

The Ratchet cutters work great. He only issue I see if you open them up to far while cutting you hit the button to release the blade. Other than that very impressed with them. They would be a higher rating but when I got them th zipper on the bag was already broken and there was a hole in the bag.

Corta correctamente, he cortado cables de cobre de hasta calibre 400 kcm sin problema, tiene un pequeño detalle ya que al abrir demaciado los mangos liberan el mecanismos de corte por lo que hay que cerrarlas nuevamente sin embargo una vez que las usas te acostumbras pero Por el precio que tienen no es un gran inconveniente esto

Es muy buen producto, hace el corte muy fino y sin esfuerzo aluminio y cobre 1000% recomendado!
