Add magnetic 1/6 Dome to windows or any other piece from any other set to create a Dome for a castle... Take it to the next level and create your own dome! You can put pieces on the bottom of the dome to make it as tall as you would like. All my grandchildren loved getting this set that adds the curved slice, dome, ball, & hexagon base options to the Magna-Tile brand sets they already own. They are shapes that Magna-Tile doesn't seem to offer. These squares have a slight rounded edge that's not true of Magna-Tiles, but you can still use them together with no issue. Grandchildren first got sets at 2. The oldest is now 7. They use them a lot and the activity appeals to the full age range and likely will continue to until at least 10, perhaps longer. One can build taller buildings than you might imagine. On particular grandchild builds unusually varied and fascinatingly shaped things. Part of the appeal is the stained-glass-like colors.
