Compatible to use with Magna-Tile brand and a better value, although without additional tiles of one brand or another, the building options of this 28-ct set are quite limited. All my grandchildren loved getting this set that adds the curved slice, dome, ball, & hexagon base options to the Magna-Tile brand sets they already own. They are shapes that Magna-Tile doesn't seem to offer. These squares have a slight rounded edge that's not true of Magna-Tiles, but you can still use them together with no issue. Grandchildren first got sets at 2. The oldest is now 7. They use them a lot and the activity appeals to the full age range and likely will continue to until at least 10, perhaps longer. One can build taller buildings than you might imagine. On particular grandchild builds unusually varied and fascinatingly shaped things. Part of the appeal is the stained-glass-like colors.

Our kiddos loved making balls and towers with these. They work very well with MagnaTiles as well.

Exactly as described. All pieces in box in perfect shape, zero broken tiles. Arrived quickly.

Arrived broken. Magnets dislodged in dome wedge section. Working on contacting playmags. No response so far. Agree with other review, magnets aren't strong enough and don't hold the wedges together enough. What it really needs is a profile section that can support the sides of the wedges like an orange slice. Basically, a right angle with an arc on the hypotenuse side. Update: still no response from manufacturer. May have to return for refund. Update: excellent support from the seller Update: finally got a response from the manufacturer.

Don't remember what prices are what but kids loved it. Fits in with the other sets. Ball doesn't stay together strong enough to roll or play with but builds cute enough!

this is a great product. We bought a set for our grandchildren and continue to add on to it. They are now 4, 6 and 9. Still enjoy it. We travel with it too. Great successful building program for kids and adults.

Voilà un très bon complément aux grandes boites de base. Mes enfants (4 et 8 ans) adorent ces plaques aimantées et quand ils ont découvert ces nouvelles tuiles, ils ont adoré. Cela leur permet aussi d'appréhender physiquement les formes géométriques. C'est parfait, solide et durable.

Paymags es acierto total. Juegan con ellos todos los días, combinándolos con otros juguetes:ponys, Playmobil, animales... Este set se lo trajeron los Reyes a las niñas y están encantadas con las cúpulas.

Excellent quality magnets, do not repel each other like some brands. Works well with magnatiles and other brands.
