No, not that I’m aware. This is a plastic version. A bit smaller than most idol reps. Not hefty/heavy. Nice representation and shine though.

The head twists left and is very distracting if you look up at it on a shelf - almost like the shelf is crooked. Is this accurate for a 1:1 replica?

Though mine is not perfectly symmetrical, it isn't distracting as I look up at mine as well.

How heavy is it, and is the 'gold finish' real gold or just gold-colored metal? Also, how well does the finish hold up? Does it flake?

It's got nice weight to it and it is gold plated. It says so on the box it arrived in. It has held up well. No cracks or flaking but it is only a display piece.

I see the dimensions, but could someone share the minimum size base I would need for the bottom? (Should be a bit smaller than the top I imagine.)

Hello. I ordered a acrylic display case from Amazon that measures 7”Wx7”Dx10”H. It looks like it belongs in a museum. If you want just a base, a 6” diameter round base should suffice (for aesthetic purposes, a circular base with least the width of the idol’s noggin.)

Looks Absolutely Amazing on Our Mantle!

I purchased this to sit on our fireplace mantle in our man cave. It looks absolutely stellar sitting up there with our full-size T-51b power armor helmet and staff of Ra headpiece. It's heavy, very well-made, and doesn't have any of the tell-tale features of the cheaper knock-offs (hairline, down-turned smile, etc.). If you're in the market for replica Raiders memorabilia, I highly, HIGHLY recommend this!

A very nice reproduction but be careful!

Bought mine in 2021 and been a great part of my prop display. Nice and weighty and with a impressive finish that if you don't clean or polish it does take on an authentic aged patina. Teamed up with the Toynk base this idol makes for a superb focal piece for any raiders fan. Be careful though because mine came with imperfections via bubbled paintwork under the chin that will flake and you'll end up with vacuformed gold bits everywhere if you handle it without care. Mine also arrived with a scuff on the cheek but in my opinion it adds to the ancient look!! Quite surprised how much the price has gone up on these as I paid around £65 for mine a couple years ago and it's £118 at the time of writing this! But the I'd still probably buy one at that price. Overall very happy with mine and I'm sure you will be with yours.... "Throw me the whip and I'll throw you the idol"
