Pain in the butt to use

After reading the reviews I was amazed at how many people "gut" their bagels. I thought I was one of only a few doing this but found out that is not the case. This works so much better and faster than digging out all the bread with my fingers. This item gets used just about every day, don't know how I lived without it all these years. If you are like me and gut your bagels, try this out. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

The handle separates from the blade. Users are advised to hold the metal blade by the back of the metal instead of relying on the rubber handle. Blade slips out of handle easily when it should not.

I purchased this to remove some of the bread on hoagie or heavy rolls, such as ciabatta to lesson the carb load, or mass to be able to stuff with what ever the sandwich is. It works alittle on frozen rolls but Just Globs up The bread otherwise. Only used it a couple of times and broke. It is cheap and poorly designs to not break with any pressure. A waste Of Money. I hoping my husband can Make a better handleFor it and will hold up better

Was not sharp enough to cut easily

Great,the price also great. It scoops the bagel or bread easily,a good helper for sandwiches.I bought second and as a gift to my friend.
