Thought-Provoking
**"Diary of an Oxygen Thief"** is a raw and captivating novel that delves into the complexities of love, heartache, and the cyclical nature of pain. The story follows an unnamed narrator who embodies the troubled spirit of a modern-day Holden Caulfield, grappling with his struggles as an alcoholic while navigating the chaotic landscape of relationships. He crosses paths with a fiercely ambitious woman working as a photographer’s assistant, whose relentless pursuit of success blinds her to the emotional turmoil she creates around her.Through a blend of dark humor and poignant insight, the novel explores the harsh realities of human connection and the ways in which we hurt one another and ourselves. The protagonist’s journey is a powerful reminder of the scars we carry and the impact of our actions on those we love, painting a vivid picture of the messiness of life and love. **"Diary of an Oxygen Thief"** is not just an exploration of broken hearts; it is an honest, hilarious, and heartrending account of what it means to truly connect, making it a thought-provoking read for anyone who has experienced the highs and lows of relationships.

great seller, mediocre book
The book came in excellent condition and shipped quickly. Physically, there’s nothing wrong with the book and the seller did a great job.The storyline of this book is essentially a character study of a man with psychopathy who enjoys hurting women emotionally. Generally, I would find things like this interesting but I could not get into this book. It is very slow paced in the sense that the book doesn’t really go anywhere. The man is writing to himself about himself and he is incredibly misogynistic. It gets very repetitive, and the main character is meant to be unlikeable- and he does a great job.The seller 10/10, the book itself personally I wouldn’t read it again.

Mainly a review on the book
Nothing wrong with the delivery or the person who I got it from and the book was really short, but I just could not get into it. I tried my hardest even though it only had 5 chapters. It still had 151 pages which made the chapters very long But I just could not get myself into it. I had to stop mid chapter 2 because I just couldn’t read it no more.

” I think this book was good. I think it took a lot of guts ...
I read the book “ Diary of the Oxygen Thief.” I think this book was good. I think it took a lot of guts to write a book about his personal experience. About how he was an alcoholic and how he was a narcissist. The book starts off in Dublin and the main character loves to take away the women's way of emotion. He does this by sitting and listening to there problems and then use it against them in the worst way. He would then ask them to take revenge on him by following him around and stock him. Which made him feel like they stilled cared. So eventually he got sober and met a girl that he loved but was scared to commit because he didn't want to go back to his old way. So, one day when he went to the bar he was with his girlfriend and his girlfriend would always be taking pictures of him. As he was 8 years sober, his girlfriend gave him coke. In the coke there was vodka. So after being 8 years sober he relapsed. Which was a very sad part in the book. The character in the book had a lot courage to write about his experience. He put his differences aside and let his expire de free. Bei§&an alcoholic was a hard thing for him to recover and stopping to emotionally hurt girls was another really hard thing for him. By getting sober and by cleaning up his life he became great at his job and became ?+very successful. He put his accomplishment and struggle into a book which was a really good book. I highly recommend reading this book. It ¡was very good.

If you don't get it, then you're missing out.
The day I saw Diary of an Oxygen thief in the store, I stumbled upon something I didn’t know I needed. When I read the back of the book where Anonymous was compared to J.D. Salinger in style, I half snickered in disbelief, and half sneered in jealousy. “How could someone accomplish what I’d been trying to achieve for years, publish himself under Anonymous, and be compared to one of the literary greats I only wish I could be compared to in decibel form”?My mind couldn’t make itself up before my body reacted and carried me to the register… and off I went on a fantastic journey. Pages filled to the brim with so many feelings. How could a book like this make me feel so much? I could not bring myself to put this book down. Every time I had to, I would wind up picking it back up again as soon as I could. It was like I was diving into someone’s subconscious. No wonder he published under Anonymous. It’s all so raw. Was this really a diary? How can you live with yourself after doing that to someone? How can someone do that to you and live with themselves? No more was I left to read and re-read The Catcher in the Rye, A Perfect Day for Bananafish, Seymour an Introduction. No. Someone had published this amazingly complex book, a new book I could finally immerse myself in. When I found out there was a second, I almost lost my mind.
