These work for fungus gnats!
These sticky traps were just what I needed for the fungus gnats that have invaded some of my houseplants. They work really well. They are bright which I believe attracts the gnats to them and they are a quality plastic material and they have cute shapes. They don't completely get rid of the gnats. I am finding that you have to also get rid of the larvae or they keep coming back! I am using neem oil to spray on the soil to see if that helps with killing the larvae. If that doesn't work, I will try some other things I found on the internet. They are easy to use. You just stick them in the dirt. They are very sticky, so you have to hold them by the edges to stick them in the dirt.

Effective for Soil Gnats
I purchased these fruit fly sticky traps because I have a lot of houseplants and tend to deal with annoying gnats in the soil. These traps have been very effective and work really well. They are easy to use and do a great job catching the gnats, which has made a noticeable difference around my plants. I also appreciate that they come in a large quantity for the price, making them a great value. A nice added bonus is that they include a small shovel, which makes it easier to dig a hole and place the traps securely in the soil. If you have houseplants and struggle with gnats, this is a simple and effective solution that I would definitely recommend.

Very effective
Extremely sticky! Work as they should go into pot soil or sphagnum moss nicely. They are working great to help with my fungus gnat problems very effectively.

They work.
They work just fine. Very sticky and collects a lot of Gnats. My son ordered these for his plants. One thing to note is that there's no strong odor to anyone that might be sensitive to smells. My son threw away one other brand he purchased for that reason but these don't bother him.

Fast, effective and non toxic solution
They work! Placed them in my houseplants, in and around the kitchen waste and a top some vinegar traps. It took under 48 hours to end the infestation. I have severe lung issues so I was thrilled to find something that was inexpensive, fast and non toxic! Ps followed with a light peroxide water wash of the houseplants' soil for good measure!

Works so well!
So easy to use. Just take off the back like a sticker and put them in soil. I peel one side at a time and have seen a huge difference within a day. You get so many for the price and they last a long time! Will keep buying more as needed.

Works great
I used it to help control fungus gnats in my indoor plants. Doesn’t kill them all, but kills enough to make them not a problem. This plus a VERY well draining soil reduced their population to be negligible. Try mixing in a lot of pumice, perlite, sand, gravel and such, especially in larger pots and make sure they are not sitting in water and it helps a lot with fungus gnats, add the stickies it shouldn’t be a problem. I suggest taking the stickies down temporarily before visitors come over, and not getting dirt on the stickies as dirt will stick to it. Surprisingly still sticky after getting wet.

They are plastic NOT paper and huge
I bought these because they said they were paper and I don’t like all the plastic sticks in the other kits. These are not paper they are plastic and very large and impossible to stick into the soil as they as soft. I got them stuck to my hands and my plants trying to get them in. Also giant yellow butterflies covered in dead flies are not attractive to see. I wish someone would make the paper ones with wooden sticks and keep them small so they are easy to tuck unnoticed by people into the undergrowth of plants. Now I have not only plastic to throw out but giant super stick plastic which makes me worry about what damage that might do to sorting machines, wildlife at the dump etc. worse for the environment than ever.

Not sure these work
I’ve had these in all my plants for about two weeks and haven’t seen any fungus gnats caught. I’m hoping that’s because my infestation is almost over, and not because I wasted my money. Previously, I was using the Safer’s traps which were so insanely sticky I had to wear gloves installing them and be careful didn’t damage nearby leaves. Those ones would catch tons of gnats every week. There’s a few of them still in some pots that continue to catch bugs while this brand, though more economical, hasn’t done anything. The adhesive on these is definitely weaker. They’re easier to use but maybe that makes them less effective.
