Poorly designed
I owned the Varsity Pool Shot for over 10 years, and it was great. The Varsity II is a redesigned version of the Varsity Pool Shot and the redesign is terrible. The bolts to attach the hoop to the Varsity II backboard were not long enough to attach easily. When I finally got it attached, the hoop pointed upward instead of perpendicular with the backboard. The seller sent a replacement, but the bolts for the hoop are still too short and this time the nuts are defective and three out of the four went on crooked. I was able to take one of the defective nuts off and replace it with a nut that worked fine. But the others crooked nuts won't come off as easily and I am now stuck trying to hacksaw off one of the bolts. I would not recommend the Varsity II. If you can purchase the original Varsity Pool Shot, I would highly recommend it, but not the Varsity II.
