This is an awesome pool hoop!
Overall this is an awesome product. It is fairly sturdy and you can dunk on it but you should not hang on the rim. The install kit was missing washers (I think 5/8) - but I have a kit bought on Amazon for $10 so not a problem. Also, you need to spray the rim and hardware with clear rustoleum and you are good to go for many years without rust. I love this product and the 589 price is great on Amazon ... with free shipping of course!

The backboard does not seat properly because of the placement of the screw holes.
We were very excited to receive this back board. UNFORTUNATELY there was hardware missing (washers) which we had to go to the store for.Also the screw holes which attach the backboard to the base are not positioned properly so the back board leans forward almost 4 inches. There should have been 2 additional screw holes near top to hold it firmly to the base.Very Disappointed and would not recommend any one purchase until the engineering is changed and more support is added. Very poor.

Great hoop. I would have given it 5-stars but ...
Great hoop. I would have given it 5-stars but hardware isn’t the best. I had to use other hardware to make it a tight fit.

For the price I expected a little better quality and not so cheaply made
For the price of this basketball hoop we had to secure it down with a lot more washers that were not provided and write "No Dunking" because it is not very secure. For the price I expected a little better quality and not so cheaply made.
