My dog loves yak chews. Bought this for the first time and must have came fractured. Gave it to my pup to then find it in about 6 different pieces. Sharp edges and an absolute choking hazard. Disgusting tbh. Could have easily killed her if I wasn’t supervising. Definitely would not recommend. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

Great chew overall and Theo loves them!Although item came broken. Theo loves these chews, I decided to keep the chew as we needed something for Theo to chew on. Great chew but choking hazard when it arrived broken. We order yak chews often online and never have received a broken one via Amazon before.

My Golden Doodle loves to gnaw on a bone and he’s previously enjoyed hard cheese chews. But after less than a minute I had to take this one away from him, as it easily broke into sharp little shards, which I thought could have seriously hurt or choked him. Definitely would not recommend.

Arrived broken in four pieces, so it’s not a chew stick anymore and a choking hazard! Complete waste of money!!!!!!!

It was like a stick of rock not normal texture of what it normally is like in the past, wouldn't buy this make again, I'll stick to the yak make, very disappointed for nearly £9 total waste of money 😩

I recently tried the Himalayan Yaky Cheese Chew for my dog, and overall, it was a positive experience. My dog absolutely loved it, and that's a big win in my book. The packaging also deserves a thumbs up because it kept the product fresh, which is crucial for maintaining its quality.However, I did notice that the Himalayan Yaky Cheese Chew didn't last as long as other yak sticks I've tried in the past. Typically, a yak stick lasts my dog a week or two, but this one was gone in less than a week. While my dog enjoyed it, the shorter lifespan of the product means it might not be the most cost-effective option for long-term chewing.

I have been struggling to find my 10 month old toy poodle a treat that was healthy, safe for him to chew on, and above all - long lasting! He usually bites through treats as quickly as he can, and gulps down the pieces even if they're not bite-sized. (The last treat I tried giving him was a bully stick and he bit it in 2 pieces and swallowed whole. I was mortified!) He never chews anything, and so rather risking him swallowing something that's too big or jagged for his little throat, I gave up and resorted to giving him Nylabones.However, I am not a fan of him chewing on plastic. I would find little pieces of plastic everywhere on the floor, in his bed, and in his hair. After watching him use his front paws and teeth to pull off shards of plastic to eat, I knew I needed a change of treat. Enter these yak chews!I was a little hesistant as I know these can be very hard, especially on a toy breed's teeth, but he hates brushing and nothing else I have tried has worked. I never wanted to give him antlers, bones, or rawhide, so when I heard of yak cheese chews and how they were cheese and hard but didn't splinter, I decided I would try these out.In the video I added, he's had this chew for 20 minutes. Other treats have never lasted more than 2!!! And he hasn't even made much of a dent in it yet, it still looks about the same as it came out the package as I type this review. I could definitely see these lasting him for days or hopefully even weeks (I bought 2).For the price, the convenience of giving him something to hold his attention, and how much he seems to enjoy chomping on them, I think this chew is a winner!

My pug loves to chewy and these are fantastic at getting him to chew on things other than my slippers. However, the last batch of Yaky chews were much softer than normal and he chewed his way through one chewy in less than a day. I was pretty shocked as normally a large chewy takes him about a week to a week and a half to chew. I am a big fan of the product but was a little disappointed in the inconsistency in the density of each batch. I would recommend to any heavy chewer, in fact I have. My sister has a lab/pit mix and she adores these in the XL. Her dog also takes much longer to chew through them than other chewy treats. I also like that they don't smell or discolor chewing surfaces like other treats and chews. Lastly, heavy chewers should go a size up from what is listed as size. My pug is less than 50 lbs but he requires and Large/XL chew because he is an active chewer. I purchased the chewy for his size range and he chewed right through that chewy in less than a couple hours. Just my opinion.

I'm so disappointed in this big ,over $11,1 treat that I received. It claims to keep your dog busy. This didn't last long this time. It also was different than the others I've bought as it was hollow all down the middle of it. I have bought these yak milk chews because my dog had the last one for over a month and then I microed the last little bite into a bigger puffy treat. That he loved.But the one I got this week was a dud like, and was gone in a flash.It looked darker than the ones I received before. My dog really enjoys these chews but I'm not paying that price for 1 chew that doesn't last longer than 30-40 minutes. Maybe I can find a suitable substitute for these yak chews. Sorry for this experience and maybe no one has had this happen with what they bought.I just know it was different than all the others with that hole down the middle making it hollow not solid as before! Thank you

If you have an extremely chewer like my 50-pound Shepard-Husky, they can go through this in a single day. I was hoping to find something that would last longer, and this definitely lasted longer than everything else I’ve tried, but it still lasts only about 3-4 hours.
