what temp should i post heat to?

I didn’t use heat. I applied mine using rubbing alcohol and water. This film is really thin and could easily melt

Does it have a major effect on light output at night?

Yes, cuts the output at least by 25-30%.

Will it apply on Old school Round head light

It can wrap on any lights , but you're gonna have to need a heat gun ....
