I'm not aware that it's oven safe at any temperature, I've only used it to assemble cold mousse etc.

Yes, it works very well to make cake.

could this be used for party favor boxes ?

I haven't used it for that yet, but it looks and feels like it would make a box; however, I wouldn't say it would be a sturdy box for something heavy.

These cake collars produce beautiful cakes!! Easy to cut and use with spring form pans. Collar is durable and isn't too thin or thick. I learned to freeze cake with collar on to make removal perfect execution. End result if a beautiful, flawless cake. Absolutely LOVE these!! Definitely recommend these.
