Doing the trick. The extra thickness is helping my wife’s eyelashes from touching the glasses while keeping her poor vision in the right progressive place on the lens. Especially useful for computer work where head is in the same place.

These nose pads fit the eye glasses perfectly and bond strongly to the eye glasses. If you have a low nose bridge, I would recommend the 2.5 mm thickness option as they will keep the glasses on the nose without slipping down. They blend really well with the eye glassed and do not look like something added on! They are more expensive than similar items on Amazon but these do not stay on the eye glasses well. I will update this review if there is any downsize later on.

I love fully plastic/acetate frames but I have not only a lower nose bridge but also a very thin nose (that's slightly crooked) and high cheekbones which makes fitting plastic frames to my face really hard. I'll maybe find 1-2 frames in a given store that "kind of" fit and usually only in the children/junior section. I can only wear frames with keyhole bridges for one as they don't slant away as harshly in general, and a max of a 19mm bridge (though a 16mm works best for me) and even then there's some slight slippage or weirdness with the bottoms of the frames hitting my cheeks or just not gripping as well as it should even with the arms adjusted properly for me. So I normally stick with frames that have adjustable nose-pads simply so I have more options and can ensure they actually stay up. But I found a couple of pairs of plastic frames that were almost perfect in fit and I couldn't resist so I got these to coverr some of the extra space between the frame and my nose and also push them slightly farther away from my face and away from my cheeks and lashes. I probably could have gotten the smaller sized ones but the 2.5mm work great anyway and make sure the glasses stay put. They've been a lifesaver that actually allows me to wear the glasses I love without much hassel or frequent pushing back up my nose. The adhesive definitely doesn't last super long but comfort is A+ and they're very easy to apply. I'm considering just getting superglue or something and sticking them on with that for a longer lasting application.

I have been looking for these all my life...and then it took me awhile to figure out how to make them work as I expected. I put them, or ones like them, on all of my sunglasses and they help keep the frames from sliding down my nose (most of the time), as well as narrowing the space between the lenses. I'm asian and essentially have no nose bridge. I usually have to buy glasses with those wire nose pad thingies since most eyewear designers don't always make frame styles with my face shape in mind. These adhesive pads help to close that gap. I use this particular model on frames that have smaller lenses and a higher bridge. I use thicker adhesive nose pads for frames with larger lenses and a lower bridge. These nose pads and the the thicker ones can also help to lift the frames away from the face a bit. If you've ever had that problem where the bottom of your frames touch your cheeks when you smile, or the top of your frames graze your eyebrows, or your lenses fog up from not enough air circulation, you know what I mean. Durability wise, I change mine out every few months since they're exposed to heat, sweat, sunblock and make-up; and sometimes the adhesive just gives out and you lose one.

Come off too easily!
