Avevo sentito parlare di questa marca e guardando le caratteristiche mi sono incuriositò fino ad acquistarlo uno dei migliori acquisti in ambito gaming mai fatto tutto perfetto.

Der Alienware AW 2721D hat meine Erwartungen bisher übertroffen. Ich konnte das Gerät vor einigen Tagen zum günstigen Preis von 599€ bei Amazon ergattern; normalerweise kostet der Monitor ja 749€. Der 27" Monitor kommt in einer riesigen, schweren (>15kg) Verpackung an, die wiederum nochmals durch einen Amazon-Karton geschützt ist. Da die Monitor-Verpackung clever ineinander gesteckt ist, geht das Auspacken und die anschließende Entsorgung der Verpackungsmaterialien leicht von der Hand. Die Installation ist auch durch das beiliegende Installationsmerkblatt denkbar einfach: Standfuß (2 Komponenten) zusammenschrauben, danach das Ganze hinten ins Display einstecken - fertig. Werkzeug ist nicht notwendig. Neben unzähligen kleinen Aufklebern und Verpackungshinweisen liegen dem Monitor außerdem ein USB-Kabel, ein Displayport-Displayport sowie ein Displayport-Minidisplayport Kabel bei. Wer ein HDMI-Kabel benötigt, muss dies folglich separat erwerben. Nachdem ich sowohl meine Nintendo Switch wie auch meinen Gaming-PC mit dem Monitor verbunden und alles schön verkabelt habe, kann es auch schon losgehen. Die Tasten zur Monitoreinrichtung (4 Tasten, 1 Steuerknubbel) sind rechts hinten versteckt, aber sehr gut erreichbar. Die Kalibrierung ist bereits ab Werk wirklich sehr gut. Helligkeit, Kontrast, Farbsättigung - man merkt relativ schnell, dass man es mit einem hochwertigen Qualitätsprodukt zu tun hat. Die Auflösung von 2560 x 1440 Pixel bei 27" ist für mich ein idealer Kompromiss aus Schärfe und Größe, einzelne Pixel sind bei einem Abstand zu den Augen von 50-60cm nicht erkennbar. Angesichts der möglichen Bildwiderholrate von wahnwitzigen 240 Hz muss man zudem an das Limit seiner Grafikkarte denken :-) Zwei wichtige Hinweise, die in der Produktbeschreibung nicht ohne Weiteres ablesbar sind, für so manchen Zocker aber wichtig sein könnten: 1.) Der Monitor selbst hat keine Lautspecher! Immerhin aber ein AUX-Ausgang (Klinke). Man kann also beispielsweise ein AUX-Kabel vom Monitor zu den PC-Lautspechern führen und so von allen Quellen (in meinem Fall vom Eigenbau-Computer über Displayport und Nintendo Switch über HDMI zum Monitor) in die Lautsprecher einspeisen. Qualitätsverluste konnte ich dabei keine feststellen. 2.) Der Monitor besitzt "AlienFX". Das Programm von Alienware ist u.a. für die Beleuchtungsfunktion und - sofern man einen Alienware-Computer besitzt - noch für viele weitere Einstellungen zuständig. Ich würde empfehlen das Programm NICHT zu installieren, sofern man keinen Alienware-PC besitzt, sondern die Farbe ganz einfach manuell über den Monitor direkt einzustellen, das geht nämlich.

Como bien pone en el titulo merece la pena cada euro que gaste, el monitor es rapido tiene buenisima calidad de imagen es elegante. Yo que me gusta competir hasta al tetris con este no tendras problemas el unico problema es que no viene con manos incluidas asi que si eres de esos que no le da un tiro a un elefante a 1 metros o no es capaz de meterle un gol al arcoiris tengo que darte una mala noticia el monitor no es el problema amigo, pero si tu quieres disfrutar tus juegos a una calidad suprema sin tener que hipotecar a tu gato para pagar una grafica que te mueva los juegos a 4K este es tu monitor (aunque para pagar este yo he hipotecado la lavadora) el menu del monitor es bastante sencillo y con mucha personalizacion lo cual es nice yo que soy diseñador agradezco mucho tener mi perfil para diseñar la unica pega es que tienes que cambiar a 144hz para poner los 10bits de color pero si eres como yo al cambiarlos diras joder si esta igual, la forma que tiene el monitor de esconder los cables con un backplate retirable esta muy bien pensado y la verdad queda bastante cuco en resumen 240hz 1ms y Gsync premiun este monitor es para mi gusto todo lo que puedes necesitar para que tu experiencia de juego se totalmente placentera eso si prepara un buen pc para acompañarlo.

Bought this in January and only now i do the review so 10 months after. In the past i bought 2 dell monitors and since alienware is part of dell i was not sure if i should buy this or not, specially after the nightmare i had with customer service from dell which i do believe is one of the worst services out there. Anyway i got the 27 inch ips 240 hz and i can confirm that i am happy and so far the monitor served me good. It has great colour calibration out of the box, that 240 hz is really good and i know lot of people will say you barely can see the difference from 144 vs 240 but trust me it is noticeable and i played lot of fps in my life. Has few preset modes that are good but they need some tweaks and 3 response times fast, super fast and extreme. Fast mode is the best one, while super fast it does improve the response time and you will notice it comes with the cost of ghosting and the last one extreme is really bad, causes very noticeable ghosting, should be avoided. Now about build quality i can confirm the product feels very premium has nice finishes, very thin bezels and the chin is spot on, the monitor has rgb named AlienFx which is not bad but this days this is how they get more money from us. 3 total zones one at the bottom, one on the back that has the logo of Alienware and the last zone is on the back of the stand, you will not get any +fps if you have them on 😀 . There is also some stuff that is not that great, so this monitor is advertised as HDR 600 and g sync ultimate which i admit if you have it on in a game like forza horizon 4 you will see the difference really nice vibrant colours and no screen tearing, problem here is that thr hdr 600 it only has 32 local dimming zones that are not enough to produce proper HDR and on mine i can see it when i move the mouse from left side to right side a white line shows in different locations of the monitor. Last thing is that in order to use 10 or 12 output colour depth you have to set the refresh rate at 144, everything above this value will be 8 bpc which is not good enough if you watch HDR content. Overall great monitor, i do recommend this, has lot of features and few cons, hope this review helps potential buyers.
