Terrific Glass Lenses
The 580g is the glass version and the 580p is plastic. Choose the lens tint for your use, not just appearance. The grey base tints and the copper base tints provide very different experiences in contrast and brightness. You can find more info on the lens tints on Costa’s website. I like the “pop” in contrast the copper base (green lens) offers and the clarity and scratch resistance of the glass lenses. This TA model provides a semi-wrap fit that blocks side glare better than some other Costa models. The small vent holes work in wind but I don’t notice any venting effect in calm air. These sunglasses work great for beach/water, fishing, cycling and other activities. I have tried other brands but keep coming back to Costa!
