The perfect choice for a first time clock making project! The short shaft and a nice set of assorted hands worked well for my 'repurpose' of some old 78RPM records (that nobody wants). I like the smooth second hand [as opposed to the click- toc type] and the ease of assembly once the center hole was opened up to 5/16". The hands themselves are a little delicate, but once I paint them for better visibility against the black background, they should be fine hanging on a wall.

This was to replace a clock motor that stopped working. (Make sure to double check the length of the center stem that the hands thread on!) Lots of different options of hands included. The only negative I can point out is some instructions or diagrams would be nice for the correct position of some of the washers included.

This went into a birdhouse clock. I didn’t find a silent one with long shaft, so got this one and shortened one set of hands. All is well.

Nice movement but a better description plus have been more helpful. I was ably to use 1 of the movements to repair a small wall clock but I needed a second movement with an indent in the minute drive spline.

The price for 2 pack is great.I wanted something quite with smooth second hand. This item fits the bill.Came with 2 mechanisms and 4 sets of hands. Each set had hour, minute and second hands (one of my sets was missing a second hand so used from other).Hands were a little big for my application so I cut them to my length.Great product so far.

Purchased for a large wall clock because it said high torque. Won't move the hands.

Bought this set to fix a couple of clocks that were malfunctioning. One clock was too thick so this set wouldn't work, but I did use the hands on it. The second clock was thinner, and this set worked perfect for it. It came with different options for the hands and two different battery packs. This is a good quality set for the price.
