My cat is very finicky and only likes to eat very very fresh food. I used to just feed her three times a day, but I always found out that she would only want the top portion of the food. If the bottom portion was there for more than a day, then she would consider that food old. So I thank YHWH for His grace and His wisdom, because I had to do something about food when I went on a long vacation that lasted many days. And so I purchase the petlibro automatic feeder for my cat. These food desiccant packets are essential, this is what keeps the food fresh. As a matter of fact, I don't know why Iams (that's what she eats), does not put these moisture absorbing packets into their pet food. Because as soon as the seal is broken moisture starts coming in and some cats are just more finicky than others just as humans are more finicky than others. So I make it a point to replace this every week, I think the manual says every two weeks? But I do it every week. And I have noticed, that my cat is starting to eat more and more. Which is a great thing!

I used to use desiccant from other food package, this one definitely fits perfectly, more convenient and last longer. Every desiccant comes with its own bag and case, easy for storage.

I had initially thought that this was 6 packs of 4 each. But it's just 6 items in the pack for almost £20. I doubt that this costs more than 20p to manufacture. And they want you to replace them every 2 weeks!
