Comparing Your Top Options On Amazon
I live just outside Philadelphia and don’t have air conditioning in my home. During a recent heat wave, I realized last minute that I needed a solution and—without much experience—ended up purchasing three different tower fans instead of a window AC unit. What I learned quickly is that in hot, humid conditions, fans alone mostly just circulate warm air rather than actually cooling the space. The first fan I tried, the LEVOIT Tower Fan, was decent for the price and felt slightly more powerful than expected. It’s taller, has good oscillation, and includes features like Wi-Fi and a remote. However, it is a bit louder than I’d prefer, especially for sleeping. It did not bring the temperature down in my apartment alone.Next, I purchased the DREO Tower Fan (standard model). This one is quieter and looks sleek, with similar features (remote, Wi-Fi, multiple modes). However, the airflow opening is smaller than it appears, and it didn’t feel any more powerful than the LEVOIT—possibly even less. Overall, it’s fine, but not a major upgrade. With 2 tower fans now, they brought the temperature down a bit but it was still 89 degrees in my house. Finally, I bought the DREO Upgraded DC Tower Fan, and this one made the biggest difference. It pushes significantly more air, distributes it better throughout the room, and the added height helps circulate air more effectively. It’s louder, but the performance makes up for it. If I had started with this model, I likely would have skipped the others and purchased 2 of these. That said, even with three fans, the reality is that in a humid climate like Philadelphia—especially on a top floor—fans alone aren’t enough. They mostly move hot, humid air around. I’ll be using these fans to supplement airflow in my room in my apartment, but I’ll still need a window air conditioner for real cooling in the other room.Final thoughts:* If you already have AC and just want better airflow → the LEVOIT is a great value.* If you want something quieter → the standard DREO is fine.* If you want the strongest airflow → go with the upgraded DREO.* If you don’t have AC and live in a humid area → skip the fans and invest in a window air conditioner first.I wish I had known that from the start, but hopefully this helps someone else avoid the same mistake.

Great fan for a fraction of the big brands price
This is a powerful and affordable fan. It genuinely cools me down on hot summer days to the point I have to pull out a throw blanket. Our ceiling fan broke and I needed some air flow and this definitely works! I love it and will be purchasing one for my bathroom too! It’s light enough to move around, sleek, and it’s not too noisy (but not silent either). So far, I’ve had this 2 years and it’s been pretty reliable! I run it everyday in the summer!

Dreo Tower 42 Inch Floor Fan - not bad, not bad at all... NICEEE.......
Gotta say, I am impressed by this Dreo Tower 42 Inch Floor Fan.I came across Dreo because I was looking for another of the Air Innovation fans I bought a few years ago for our place. That model is no longer being sold.We have two of the Air Innovations floor stand models and they are still working wonderfully well, ESPECIALLY with the twirl/swirl air feature - nice chill added to the air flow.--- and I did not want to purchase the updated, more expensive version.Dreo:a) It is somewhat quiet (no annoying noise)b) GREAT feature of allowing you to turn off the ANNOYING beep every FRIGGIN' time you press a buttonc) No need to get wi-fi version, unless you really, REALLY want it and want to pay an extra ~10 bucksd) The up and down air/wave pattern is nicee) The oscillation is not bad eitherBottom line, this fan is performing better than I thought it would after these past several days - nice, cool air, even at level 2 on a 88 degree day.-- It took me ~10 minutes to put it together - NO tools needed and did not need to read the instructions.Very intuitive design if your mind/brain has a technical bend to it, otherwise, might take about, maybe 15-20 minutes...???I would definitely recommend it at this point.NOTE:Make sure you find the warranty card AND the little gray User Manual booklet in the box. The "default 12 month warranty" is stated on next to last page of User Manual.Remember, if you do the scan QR code (actually, just go to the dreo.com site) to extend your warranty - it is also a quick way for them to send you email/text (even if you opted to not receive offers and whatnot).

A Good Choice
This is quite a tall tower fan and has a strong airflow. It cools well and oscillates very quietly. Good quality. The controls are easy to use. Glad a got a decent price.

Totally worth it!!
I bought this fan because a client of mine has one and I LOVE this fan. It is quiet compared to every other fan that I have ever had. Hopefully in the future I will totally update my experience of this fan. The hardest thing was the base of this fan was hard for me at first but once I watched the video I managed to make it work. This fan is excellent for small spaces and maybe larger ones. It is supposed to save money on my ever rising electric bill. Totally reliable in functionality it is quiet enough for a fan. Hopefully will make my electricity bill much smaller. I Will update this review in a month or two for effect on my electric bill. Namaste!

Quiet comfort!
Excellent fan! Incredibly quiet given the volume of air being pumped out! Highly recommended!

Awesome fan.
Awesome fan, Replaced a small fan in a room that is always hot. Keep in on 5 and it feels really cool in that room. Powerful, great flow and super quite. We love it.

Pleasantly Surprised . . .
I have been using Dyson fans for the past few decades . . . Unfortunately, they are way overpriced and last only about 5 years before they become excessively loud (even with cleaning) and have to be replaced. I found this Dreo to be extremely quiet and it pumps out a lot of air even at the lowest speeds. Not sure how long it will last, but if just a few years, it will be a much better value than my Dysons . . .

Goed verpakt en gezorgd
Mooi en krachtig ventilator gekocht, maar helaas terug gestuurd . Probleem is American stekker en laag voltage , 110 volts. jammer! The seller should mention this fact voor Europeans in their discription .

Sorprendente
