Affordable and good quality weights, only drawback is they smell like chemicals and the smell has not gone away yet after a few months

Worked great with my new pulley system durable soft even if heavy they were smooth to the touch, high quality absolutely great purchase.

Worked as intended. I hate it when my gym doesnt have 2.5s. Then come in handy when going up in weight like bench.

I ordered two of these 2-inch weight plates for my bench that I have in my garage home gym. I love the rubber coating. They are nice and smooth and I feel like it's less likely that I pinch my finger with them. The rubber also helps with the grip when placing a plate on the bar. It also slide on the bar and fits perfectly. Very durable and I see these weight plates lasting for quite a while.

I loaded up one these. I like their feel and when I weigh them they are the weight they say.

Some of the reviews say they got plates that were greasy or that the plates smelt terrible. The ones I got are no different from what I would see in a gym. If I put them close to my nose, yes I can smell industrial rubber but that’s no different from the plates in a gym. If you want zero smell, go for steel plates but those will damage the floor. Edited : Yup, little or no oil on remaining plates. There was a note as well in each box to explain why the oil may be present. It wiped off easily with a microfiber cloth.

These work and get the job done, but two main criticisms from me are: 1) the smell and greasiness are bad. Yes, they even include a piece of paper to tell you how to remove the smell, but I’ve bought cheaper plates that are less of an issue 2) The value for money isn’t great. $2.99 per lb is pretty expensive for this quality of plate. Again, these are fine, but I wouldn’t recommend buying a whole set (45s, 25s, 10s) because I suspect your entire room with smell like rubber

good quality but its overpriced, i paid $79.91/plate but my local fitness store sells the same one less than half price at $31.25. and return is super expensive shipping is over $100. now i am like why didnt i check the price in local stores. so please...
