This was the first time I’ve tried this jerky and it is now my favorite. Tender and great tasting.

I was expecting a soft savory taste. Unfortunately, these tasted extremely hard and not as flavorful as i originally hoped

Very thick pieces of jerky. It is a bit hard to take a bite of. It is chewy and a bit tough. This jerky is more sweet than anything. It doesn't have heat, almost like a sweet bbq sauce of it. Overall, it is okay.

..... and that is saying A LOT because I have tried a TON of different brands and varieties over the years. The Wild Bill's Steak Strips are absolutely DELICIOUS!Each bag is 3 ounces and you do only get maybe 8 nice sized pieces of steak in each bag. It doesn't sound like a lot but they are much thicker in cut than most meat snack products.The texture... OMG! It is PERFECT! Each piece is moist, tender, and seasoned to perfection. You get the smoky taste of the meat, the slight sweetness from the brown sugar and pineapple juice, and the hint of heat from the paprika. It is NOT spicy whatsoever. I am sensitive to anything spicy and this has absolutely no burn-your-mouth seasonings or spiciness.Every piece was high quality and there were no fatty or gristly pieces in any of the bags. Unlike your typical beef jerky, you didn't have to gnaw on this forever. It was soft, easy to bite into and chew.My husband and I REALLY enjoyed this product. It was a special treat for sure and much higher quality than the mainstream brands on the market. Excellent product!!!

So I wanted to sort of moan a wee bit about how you get hardly anything in the bag for the high cost. But sometimes a product is so good the price is irrelevant.Seriously, the meat is extra thick is so flavorful it's still in my mouth a few minutes after eating it.This is a slightly spicy slight sweet mix, the flavor is absolutely perfect and the heat doesnt overpower that flavor.I looked at the ingredients expecting teriyaki, but no, there's a mix of pineapple, vinegar and paprika and I love it.Shame there isn't more of it.

I really like these. The biggest problem that I have is that I eat the whole bag in one sitting. I have eaten two bags so far and am hoarding the third and last bag.Give these a try, I bet you will like them too.
