They are nice and feel fairly heavy duty for plastic clips. They also hold different hair types quite well. We tested them on medium density curly hair, thick straight hair, and fine wavy baby hair and they work great on all of us. The springs are a bit tight which gives them quite a strong hold.I went to target looking for these and they wanted $10-15 for two or three plastic clips which I felt was outrageous. So I went to amazon and found a plethora of better options. I saw these for $4 and felt it was worth the gamble. I am so happy I did. I would say these are better quality than any I have seen in stores. These are honestly better than the expensive clips in retail stores. I read one review where the person mentioned a higher price they payed for this set and honestly I think even for that price these clips are a really great deal. These are easily worth $15 for the set. So if you happen across them while they are dirt cheap like I found them at the time of this review then quick grab a set.
