Peony and licorice soup Review: Leg Cramps HURT - this tea stopped my night leg cramps that would wake me up and force me to ge up and walk the cramp out. i drink 8-10 oz every morning It is a fantastic relief for my leg cramps Review: serving size doesn't match included spoon - I just got this and noticed that the serving size is 1 gram. However, the included scoop holds 16 grams (yes, I weighed it after the tare). I don't understand why they would include such a large scoop. How much should one be using each day? This seems rather deceptive to me. I did a search on studies for Shao Yao Gan Cao Tang and found a 15 person study that gave 6 gr per day, which seemed to help most of the people in the study, so that's what I'm using now. This seems a reasonable amount (turns out to be by volume a smidgen less than 1/8 tsp. The study is here: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih. dot gov/12943175/

I did not want pills. I am glad I found powder.
I am very glad I found this product in powder form. I prefer not to take extra material if I do not have to. I also did not want to buy separate herbs and blend them myself. I wanted to know I was getting the one to one ratio. I have found that this works best brewed into a tea. It does not dissolve easily if you try to stir immediately after adding hot water . I have found this works best to leave it sit in the hot water for five minutes then stir. Then it dissolves just fine. I have only been using this for a few months, and it takes a long time to see a difference. I will continue using this and see how it works. But in terms of the quality, I have no complaints at all. The container is sealed with shrink wraped plastic around the outside, and a plastic seal that goes over the top under the cap. I have never noticed any inconsistency in quality at all. I have purchased eight of these so far. I would recommend.

Not helpful for RLS and is very bitter
I used this for RLS and it didn't work and had a nasty taste to it. It had several ingredients that's suppose to help RLS but it didn't help, contacted support to ask questions on how to make it so it didn't taste so bad, and I have to say...I thought Indian CSR's could be rude but this company put them to shame! The shipping was just as much as the product and I'd much rather say I just wasted the 60.00 dollars (which I didn't have to waste) than to deal with their customer support. It was number one among the worst things I've ever bought on Amazon.

ridiculously sweet
So I got the tea yesterday and have had a couple cups since then... This tea is RIDICULOUSLY SWEET. I looked all over the listing and inspected the jar multiple times and nowhere does it say that there's a sweetener in this product or what kind of sweetener it is. Honestly, the tea itself doesn't taste bad at all, but that sweet aftertaste seriously nauseates me. I don't know if I'll be able to keep drinking this stuff....

Not 50-50; but 41% peony root and 59% licorice root according to the label
Maybe it’s just a matter of principle, but I assumed that it would be a 50-50 blend, since that’s what I read in the product description. Other than that, it arrived promptly and in good shape. We’ll see how it works over the next week or so.
