Dictionary of Veterinary Terms: Vet Speak Deciphered for the Non Veterinarian Paperback – 1 Jun. 2007

This is most useful and portable on my Kindle makes it a must for any rescue organisation and lets us understand some of the more technical terms.

This book should be included in any Animal Science course. There is a lot in it. It could also be read as a book as well as the dictionary. I would not hesitate to recommend it to any one taking an Animal Studies course.Enjoy

I ordered this book for my niece, who want to be a Veterinarian she grows up. She's 14 years old, and when she opened this up on Christmas day, I never saw anyone get so excited over a specialized dictionary. She lives out on a ranch, and so for the next week after that, she was running around, naming off animal parts and different maladies they could suffer from. It's written in a comprehensive manner that makes it understandable for even her at her young age. A+ for this book!

A good book to add to a vet students library.

I teach a Veterinary Assistant/Primary Care Provider course for the Dept. of Labor Dog Handling program - New Leash on Life - and this book has been an wonderful addition to our library -- simple, non-technical, understandable definitions - my only regret is that the proper PRONUNCIATION of the word is not offered!! And as you know -- some of our 'medical' terms are difficult to articulate properly!
