I was recommended this toy from another mom and scoffed at the idea of spending $20 on "just a tube". Well I went searching on my own for similar materials to DIY this bad boy. No luck at ALL. Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon, even PVC Pipes specialty stores, no one had the materials for under $20, not if I wanted similar quality. The clear pipe is what makes this toy and those are not cheap for some odd reason, at least not that I could find. I should have saved myself the headache and just hit the buy button here. **Q: About how long is this when assembled? Also, how long is the biggest piece to store?** A: Hello. The tube is 4 feet when assembled. It breaks into 3 (almost equal) parts (the blue pieces are 17 inches a piece and the clear part is 16 inches). Very easy to take apart and put back together. **Q: How big is hole in tube?** A: the hole is 2 3/4 inches. Fits big super balls and hot wheel cars. **Q: Can I get replacement connectors if one breaks?** A: yes, you can. I do not see what all they hype is about but Im not a kid. It is a plastic tube. It comes in 3 parts. The two end pieces are blue and the middle piece is clear. This item broke in less than a month when I bought it last year. The dark blue connector item, there are 2 dark blue connector items, that connects the 3 pieces together broke so we were left with just 2 pieces but my little man kept playing with the 2 part tube playset and it has been several months and he continued to play with it so I thought i would reach out to the seller and see if he can send me a replacement. He sent it right away so Im updating my review because it is rare that a seller stands by their product. Yes this item is made of plastic but my little man plays with this often and way more than his other toys and he loves to see the cars go down the tube so my review is changed. Do I think its worth the 20 bucks probably not, but to see my little man playing with this and enjoying himself it is totally worth the 20 bucks to me.Original Review: This item broke in less than a month. This tube is everything it claims to be and more. It is heavy duty plastic (has survived several drops by my 4 year old and falling off the couch numerous times). It fits a variety of balls, smaller cars or trains down it. The clear part in the middle only adds to the fun as you can watch your car or ball fly down the tube. The portability is great (my 4 year old can carry it with a small amount of assistance, but we usually move it just for convenience). We can set it up on the stairs, off the couch or a bed, downstairs, upstairs pretty much anywhere (you could even use it outside but we haven't tested that yet as it is -11 in Vermont right now). My only complaint, which is very small, is that it does roll side to side a bit on wood/tile floors.
