lights great in general apart from is flickers at certain points when dimmed. We managed to get it in a spot where it’s dimmed and not flickering .but we’d like it a bit brighter but that’s when it flickers

Good replacement for original halogen bulbs. Working well and are dimmable, plus save electricity. You can get cheaper bulbs but I found many of them didn't work.

3rd time lucky. First LED bulbs for my lamp were too cold colour wise, second set didn't switch off properly, there was always a residual glow. These bulbs are my 3rd try and seem to work well. Warm colour, dim ok without buzz or flicker and have plenty brightness. If they are reliable over time I certainly recommend them.

Bought on the proviso that as previous reviews had stated that it was dimmable. Mine have not been, the dimmer dial goes from fully off to fully on with no gradient. It isn't very bright either, no where near as bright as the non-LED 15W bulb it was to replace. On the plus side, it doesn't act as a heater like the old one and the electricity usage should be significantly lower. Key take aways: Does it light up? Yes Is it dimmable? No Is it bright? No Would I buy this one again? No

Super bright work well and fingers crossed they will provide long service life.

09/01/2024. I fitted this bulb to a John Lewis uplighter and so far it has worked with no flicker and it has replaced a 230W bulb which I was pretty reluctant to switch on due to the price of energy! Now at around 20w it feels cheap. 4 stars because I had to buy 2. So far I'm very satisfied I will return to this review if it lets me down with an update. Ok so now the 20 Jan 24 and I have used this light for 5 hours or so per night on an intermediate setting and I've had it 11 days so that's a life of about 55 hours and it has stopped working. Luckily I had to buy that bulb I didn't want so I've fitted that. So far so good. I'll let you all know how that one lasts.

Replacement for a torpedo style halogen. Straight swap and very effective.

Sono più grosse delle lampadine alogene, per cui bisogna verificare che ci sia sufficiente spazio tra i contatti e il piatto della lampada per ospitare il loro ingombro. Io ho dovuto leggermente modificare la mia piantana. Per altro sono molto soddisfatta perché nella piantana in questione dovevo sostituire abbastanza spesso le lampadine alogene. Queste le ho da due anni e mezzo e fanno tutt'ora il loro lavoro. Ultimamente stanno riducendo la loro luminosità per cui prevedo che saranno da cambiare tra qualche mese. La luce che producono è calda permettendo di ottenere una bella atmosfera. Sono dimmerabili anche se la variazione di luminosità che si ottiene non è ampia come quella che avevo con le lampadine alogene, con le quali si poteva avere anche una semi-oscurità. Queste lampadine si illuminano solo quando arrivo a 1/3 dell'escursione del dimmer a pedale. Questo credo derivi dal fatto che il dimmer della mia piantana è progettato per lampadine alogene e per carichi più elevati di quelli relativi alle lampadine LED. Nel complesso sono comunque molto soddisfatta

De lamp is voor een vloer uplamp met een gewone dimmer. Bij zachtjes branden, brand de lamp goed. Bij normaal branden gaat de lamp flikkeren. Op vol vermogen waarbij lichtopbrengst prima is, brand de lamp weer goed. Helaas voldoen de lampen niet daar wij de normaal stand willen kunnen gebruiken. We hebben er een ander ingedaan met minder vermogen die probleemloos brand.
