Just be careful
I got this product to fix my 7mil open cell freedive suit that had some tears from a fall on the rocks. One tear was about 4 inches long on the back of the leg and the other was about 2 inches long on a stitched seam just over the knee. I was a bit skeptical about how it would perform after reading the directions. The 2 applications seemed weird but I followed them to the word. My suit had tears that were in the middle of the leg and on the knee so it wasn't like the picture that shows a tear from an edge. To keep the edges of the neoprene apart during application I just used a toothpick to keep them separate. It worked great. After the 2 applications of the cement I was careful to align the edges before I pushed the seam together. The stuff is like contact cement in that you get one chance on contact, if you screw up, you're screwed. After I finished the repairs I was impressed how well the tear stuck together but I knew the real test would be on the next dive. I dive northern California so there are a lot of rocky acrobatics just to get in the water so wetsuits take a ton of abuse. The repairs performed very well. The knee held for 4.5 hours of diving with no signs of failing. I'm totally satisfied with the product and highly recommend it.

Great stuff!
Had a wetsuit that was coming apart at the seams and a tube of this was way cheaper than a new suit. Works like a charm - it dries quickly and it's ridiculously strong. I've made several dives since using this cement and the suit is still flexible and the seams are sticking together.A week after I got this seal cement I came across a surfing wetsuit in Goodwill for a few dollars, but the neoprene around the legs had split vertically. I picked it up, patched it, and I've surfed with that wetsuit about 10 times now and those sealed splits are holding perfectly. Definitely the best investment I've made when it comes to diving stuff!

super easy to use and works great
This glue was very easy to use - just put some on your rip, wait a little and press together. And you are done. No 24 hrs to wait till you can use your wetsuit again, no mess, no nothing. It comes with a brush, but I just squeezed the glue directly from the tube onto the seam where I had some separation. It is flexible after it dries and seems to be very strong. The tune is huge as well. So it will last you more than one wetsuit will. Price was good as well.

Used for wetsuit repair.
Used this to patch a tear in a wetsuit. Lasted about a month, then started to split again, so I reapplied. The tear is still closed now. Wetsuits are probably a tough item to repair since there is so much pulling and stretching to get them on and off. This stuff is very flexible. If the tear starts to open again, I will just reapply again. This stuff is very liquidy and runny, so it takes very little to fix small rips, tears and punctures. As long as the tube stays fresh inside, it should last a very long time.

Its' the bees knees for wetsuit repair:-)
Awesome stuff to fix wetsuits. I went for smaller size and 2 oz. should be enough to fix 20 more tears:-) Works like a charm - fixed a huge rip in the armpit and holds it stronger than original seam. I also sewn around the seam with floss for added strength & applied seal cement around that too. As others said, you have 1 chance to make contact - once it touches, it's hard to readjust.

Not as pictured
Ordered this because the picture was of the industrial strength neoprene cement, which worked great on a previous wetsuit repair. What you actually get is the normal strength. I will have to wait until next season to see how well this repair holds up.

Wetsuit repairs are tight
My triathlon wetsuit had a few tears from my fingertips pulling. I followed the instructions and the black cement worked very well. For small tears it is difficult to apply cement without getting some of it into places where it will later show, so my repairs are not exactly invisible. What counts though is that the glued areas withstand stress from stretching and pulling. It does hold things together well. 2oz are more than enough for even larger repairs and certainly more than I will ever need.

I would say this product works but it depends on the area that it is applied to. I used this on an xcel wetsuit and the results weren't that good. Once dried a lot of the adhesive will start to peel back so you have to over apply it in affected areas to compensate. The glue doesn't really bind to the taping of neoprene seems either as it just peeled off after a few uses. I cleaned the areas before applying as one should but I noticed this was the same product sold by O'Neill wetsuits just in a different packaging. If you use it I would apply it to a piece of cardboard first and then use a toothpick to do the actual neoprene application. Don't expect miracles. The glue will last a few uses and then the flexibility of the underlying material coupled with salt water/wind/sun will degrade the rest.

A must if you wear a wet suit regulary
Good instructions and easy to use.I tend to apply it with a cocktail stick so that you can get the cement right into the edges of then tear.Wait two minutes for it to go tacky, squeeze together, run off any excess and the jobs done. The tube will last you ages, I use it almost every time I do an open water swim as my wetsuit is super swift but very delicate (and I'm a little too large for it!) so I get a lot of "finger tip" tears.this seals them up easily and if you apply it carefully its almost invisible.
