Love it!
I had been using the K-cups for years when I found Club Coffee single serves. They are slightly less expensive than the boxes of K-cups I was buying and they also have a little less plastic (the bottom is a sort of mesh material). They fit perfectly into both my personal size and larger size Keurig machines. The taste is as good or even better than any of the other K-cups I buy (usually like Newman's special decaf or Donut House decaf) and I was happy to see that the decaf is made using the swiss water process which the K-cups I was buying were not. The regular versions of Club Coffee are also very good. I would definitely recommend trying these out.

The only way to drink decaf coffee!
Swiss Water Process is the only way to drink decaf coffee:The general decaffeination processes includes soaking the still green coffee beans in hot water (160-210 degrees Fahrenheit) and then some sort of solvent or activated carbon is used to extract/dissolve the caffeine. The solvents typically used are methylene chloride or ethyl acetate. Swiss Water Process does not do this! Plus it tastes good.

Great tasting coffee.
The taste is great... and little caffeine. The decaffenation process is water base- healthier.

If you like a strong dark roast this may be the decaf ...
This coffee is very bitter. If you like a strong dark roast this may be the decaf for you.

Wish it were stronger
It's ok... Don't look for a good strong coffee taste. I've learned over the last few weeks that the Swiss Water Process coffee lacks taste. Not sure if the process removes the taste or is it because of the types of beans used??

You Have to Enjoy Decaf
I am trying this brand of decaf coffee for the first time. I appreciate the pods and they work great in my coffee machine. It has a great medium roast flavor. I'm very happy too that it says it is swiss water decafinated (not all decaf coffees are and it does give the coffee a better flavor in my opinion). I hesitate to compare it to other brands, however I enjoy other swiss water decaf brands like Nabob, so if you like that brand too you will likely enjoy this coffee, but you have to enjoy decaf coffee to begin with. I would recommend this. I signed up for reorder.

Not 100% Compostable
Shamefully each pod is individually wrapped in plastic. I say “shamefully” because this product leads with green-washed packaging claiming to be “100% compostable” and “rainforest certified” that could easily have have included biodegradable fresh keeping bags like another popular brand. Hope they correct because they are 95% there, and offer a good product it tastes very good.

Brewing method important to me
Coffee arrived in good condition. For a decaf coffee taste was a little strong for me, but good. Bought this mainly because of the Swiss water brewing method which is much healthier than removing the caffeine using solvents. Will buy again!

Room for improvement...
Not organic, not fair trade, éthique, 100% compostable pods, taste is OK as decaf go... what’s not to love about this product? The pods are individually wrapped in plastic. That is a big turnoff for me. They say they are working on a more sound environmentally solution, so i will wait before buying again.

Non-compostable plastic wrap on each pod
This is a perfect example of a company who doesn't understand their consumers. I purchased this product because it promised a pod that was 100% compostable - SO DISAPPOINTED to find that the pods were individually PLASTIC WRAPPED. It's kind of like buying a compostable garbage bag for your compostable garbage, only to find out it comes with a non-compostable twist tie built in. Dear company - I want good coffee that doesn't destroy the environment. Help me out and I'll buy your product. Package it in non-compostable products and I won't. Note on the product says "we're working on it".... NOT FAST ENOUGH, apparently!
