Absolutely brillant, I bought the XL super rat trap for large rats as I didn’t know how big the rats in our loft were, turned out to be quite young but we’ve managed to catch 5 of them in less than 24hrs with one trap and peanut butter as bait!! All of them looked to have been killed instantly, with no mess and the way you release them is great as you don’t have to get too close or even see their face, so ideal if you’re a little squeamish! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these traps to anyone, far better than poison - just make sure you place them in a spot where you know they’re likely to visit, e.g. by a known entrance hole and use a good bait like peanut butter or jam

This is highly recommended by me as a method of killing all size rats quickly and effectively. I have caught some HUGE ones in this trap. It’s quite lethal so be careful not to put it anywhere a pet like a cat can get at it or kids. I find baiting with ham bits and peanut butter works really well. It’s super fast so even the most sneaky rats get caught out.

Been trying to get rid of a big, stubborn rat in our compost bin for a while- have tried all sorts of things to get rid the little blighter but nothing was working - until now!It was easy to set up, being ready baited, popped it in the compost bin just before going away for a few days and came back to a dead rat! It was easy to pick the trap up and release it into the bin but used some gloves as Mr Rat had made a bit of a mess on the trap. Have reset the trap to see if Mr Rat had any buddies but there is no sign of any activity so problem solved!All hail to The Big Cheese Ultra Power Super Rat Trap - Mr Rat has met his match!!!!!!!

I like the size of them as they are large enough for big rats. Problem is they're not powerfull enough to kill the big rats. Also I don't think they are sensitive enough and we all know that rats are very smart creatures. I would not buy them again, but I have seen worse before.

Terrible for big/adult rats, it just traps them and you end up having to kill them yourself. Much better and cheaper options from victory traps also sold on Amazon
