My weight fluctuates but I am pretty heavy guy. (Over 250).I love that this comes in sizes I can use (it is hard to find belts for the big bellied), the belt hold my pants up firmly, and the belt feels very sturdy. I have tried both belts, wearing them every day. These are great for casual and for work. I'd imagine if I was haning drywall or doing yard work or whatever, I'd never have to worry about the belt breaking. Feels like these will outlast jeans or work pants easily. And the price cannot be beat.I will put it like this: strong enough that I have no qualms using these for heavy and dirty work as well as casual. I have no fear they are gonna break.The belt is very stiff and thick, so if you cinch it to your waist very tightly and do a lot of bending, it can cut into your belly a bit, if you have a belly. I do not mind. It is a price I willingly pay to remind me to lose some weight.Overall, great belts. Very happy and would buy again.

I got the black and brown belts. They work great, feel really sturdy and high quality. I expect them to last a long time. I love the ratchet system, and the fact that you can tighten or loosen at any point on the belt. I had a leather ratchet belt before which only had a small section of 3"-4" with the teeth to be used on the ratchet. Not with this belt. Because of the webbed design of this belt, you can set lock the ratchet at any location on this belt. I wear 34" waist jeans, so I ordered the small (30"-36" waist). The tail reaches just above my left front pocket, which is great to me.Also, love the fact that the tail is on the inside of the belt. I've always disliked the dangling tail hanging on the outside. I read somewhere that it's difficult to grab the tail from inside the belt to tighten the belt. There's no need to do that. Because the belt is stiff and sturdy, you can just push or pull from the buckle area to tighten or loosen the belt.The attached picture is the brown belt.Overall, these belts are great. I highly recommend these.

I’ve been wearing ratchet belts for years. When I came across these, I thought definitely worth a try. They are remarkably exceptional. The buckle holds well ,never had it slip. In one emergency use I use one of these belts for a tiedown strap worked beautifully. I believe in them enough to have given them as a gift.

Took a while to get used to them but now I love them. Once you set them at your comfort level they don’t move until you take it off or simply adjust them.

Nice material, nice looking belt, but the little locking mechanism jams. The first time I wore one I made the mistake of having The little lever on the buckle facing down and I was trapped in my pants for a while till I figured out how to release it and loosen the belt. But even when you put the release mechanism on the top where you would think it's easy to get to ,it's not always easy to get this belt off. If I ever have a bad reaction to my medication I know I won't make it with this belt on.

My husband is extremely hard on belts, to the point he was going through belts every few months. We tried so many different kinds, but this has been the only brand to last. He wears it daily to his manual labor job, and often has it on for 12+ hours a day. These belts still lasted him YEARS. Yes, years, not months like all the other belts. He finally just broke his previous one after three years, and immediately requested I buy a new one of the same kind. As a bonus, he loves the buckle feature and the ability to really customize the fit more than a regular belt. They are true to size, fit well on any of his pants, and are comfortable. I hope they never stop selling these, because I dread the day I'm having to replace my husband's belt every few months again. These are 100% worth the money and they will be a repeat buy again and again.

This belt is neater than normal belt, since the excess belt is hidden underneath the belt.Ratchet also works perfectly, never encountered it slipping.And since ratchet has no predetermined hole position, it's easily adjustable.Also, since it's without hole, there's no risk of hole becoming stretched or shifted due to wear.A better belt design, imho.
