Do you recommend adding a spray on fabric weather repellent???

I would not buy this patio umbrella. I bought this umbrella in red and it did not even last one summer. First it turned pink and the the stitching came out. I have to say it's a piece of junk. If you stick with umbrella that is made of Sunbrella fabric (polyester) you will have it for years.

I’m wondering could I attach a pvc against the Post of the deck and then slip the umbrella in there

Depends on the strength & height of your PVC....if a wind comes up and the umbrella is open, the force could split the PVC. But if it's sheltered and your close your "brelly" at night I'd give it a try. Our former umbrella flipped over and it was in that super heavy umbrella stand. (My husband says I should have said "I don't know the answer.)

Who do I contact for a broken Abba umbrella

In my area, just take it to a Kohl’s store and make it an Amazon return. This originally happened to me with the tube being crushed. I notified Amazon of the reason that I wanted to return it. They sent me a shipping label and allowed me to immediately purchase its replacement at no additional charge. They made lemonade out of my lemon!!!

Screw-In Pole Design: The 1.5 inch diameter heavy duty iron pole has a convenient easy and smooth screw-in pole design with built-in rounded threads that make rotating the 7.5 foot outdoor umbrella much easier. The Iron pole and steel ribs are powder coated in an Antique Bronze finish for rust resistance.
Reinforced End Screw Design: This feature built on each rib helps protect the umbrella from breaking if it falls over. It also helps keep the surface of the umbrella canopy more sturdy and secure to each of the 6 ribs and will help rain to quickly drain from the umbrella. The canopy is vented to allow air flow and to give the umbrella more stability, giving it more wind resistance.
Durable Easy Clip System: Now closing and securing the 7.5 ft. market umbrella is easier than ever with this new easy clip sytem. No more ties to tie or velcro that does not hold.
Easy to use: The easy-to-use crank sytem makes it easy to raise and lower the canopy. The push button tilt technology also makes tilting the umbrella effortless so that you can enjoy shade at any angle with this 7.5 ft patio umbrella outdoor.
Vented Canopy: Designed to facilitate air flow and prevent inversion in windy climates; Search B00SUU7V1I, B00SUUCE3S, B01DLGTFBO or B06XKQR5Q8 to get the matched umbrella base. Do not forget to put down or store away your umbrella before windy or stormy days.
