There is a pre-cut opening for the pod and this patch goes on top of the adhesive around the pod to help hold it down. **Q: Are they reusable my daughter change her every day** A: My husband only changes his when he changes his pod, which is about every 3 days. Because they are a lightweight thin adhesive, it not really possible to take it off and put back on because it sticks to itself when removed. **Q: What is the secret of putting these on?** A: I wish I knew the answer to applying them . I have only gotten them on correctly a few times and I did not repurchase . In my opinion you need another person to help you get it on correctly . I put the pod on more towards the back of my upper arm and it is very hard to apply that patch . My doctor told me about 2 other products to make them stay on . The one item is a liquid adhesive called Sticy Tac . They also make little pads the size of an alcohol wipe . I have never bought those because they a lot more expensive than the liquid which lasts a very long time . I have had the same bottle for 3 years . It also comes with its own dauber . The other thing my doctor mentioned works really well , too . They are called Tegaderm patches and they come in different sizes . They are wonderful and they will stay on until you remove them . Hope this helps . I just am not a fan of the Omnipod patches . However , if you do manage to get it on correctly , they do stay on .
