After 3 months of use the product could not hold a connection to my laptop and had erratic connections for the USB ports. I do not recommend it.

after 3 months of use the product intermittently doesn't display on 1 HDMI port.once again Amazon pull the "its 3rd party product we don't control it"getting sick of Amazon washing its hands of the responsibility of selling product but don't care after sale.Dean D from customer service dropped the call so he didn't have to raise a complaint ticketsick of cheap chinese products

Bought this to add ports to my 2018 MacBook Air. Amazon were offering an £8 discount voucher which brought the price under £40 which rates 5 stars for value.It fits easily and well. The colour is a very close match so looks good. The case appears to be plastic which is not ideal but it comes with a protective sleeve for storage.I haven’t tried all ports yet but those I have tried work fine.Biggest drawback to me is that you lose a USB-C port as it uses both ports on the Air but only has a single port itself.So, not perfect but for under £40 thoroughly recommended!

All ports works great but Only Support x1 Eternal Monitor in Extend Mode on Macbook Pro M2. You can have x2 monitors connected to show same ( Mirror Mode) but I doubt anybody who is buying want multiple monitors showing same thing.After some researching it came to light that It's an Apple limitation put in place and does not matter how many ports of video output you have. The only way to work around that is to buy DisplayLink compatible adapter that can support multiple external monitors in extend or mirror mode.

Good functionality for using dual screens on Macbook Air 2019 with HDMI cables.Only two USB's which I used for keyboard and mouse, would have been useful to have a third for flash drives etc.HOWEVER - reason for only two stars is it failed after 9 months, not catastrophic failure but when plugged into the Macbook all keyboard and mouse functions became erratic and unusable.Had to revert to using laptop undocked until a replacement arrived (anyone who used dual screens for data will understand how frustrating and difficult this was)Would suggest having a hot spare if you are going to use this product.

Although it is an apparently good product that fits well for Macbook, in a couple of days I realised that my earbuds and my wireless keyboard were with a significant low bluetooth range. When I removed it from my Macbook they started to work again with the original range. That said, in my case it was clear a bad interaction between this device and the bluetooth connection of my Macbook. I returned it.
