Are these fancy with cute patterns? No. Does my baby care while spitting up milk? Not one bit. These are inexpensive, and honestly, I now gravitate towards these rather than my more expensive Burt's Bees cloths (still a huge fan). The size is great (larger than Bees), and they are really soft. I think they have gotten softer with every wash. I have no issues with absorbency. My baby could spit up A LOT, and these will do the job. I have some other burp cloths that were gifted that are getting rough in the wash, and I will replace them with more of these. I don't ever use it, but they have a little loop on one corner for hanging/drying.
