This seems to be a darned good cap to my investment of good to great coffee
This seems to be a darned good cap to my investment of good to great coffee. One that I should have bought sooner. My expensive coffee was freshly ground using a good quality burr grinder, made with filtered water, and then poured into a regular cup, where it went from hot to warm by the time I was halfway through drinking it. These cups have made a significant improvement in temperature retention. I read one of the reviews here that commented about heat still escaping from the top…but I was looking for something to help retain heat, not expecting a product that would defy physics. Nothing can compete with a top that prevents heat escaping as it rises.Like another reviewer here, I initially thought they were made of plastic. They weigh far less than a normal glass cup, and don’t quite sound the way normal glass does when tapped with a spoon; but then I read other reports describing their fragility and how one little boy cut his finger when one broke...certainly not typical of any plastic. So I re-read the description and learned they were made of “Borosilicate Glass” looked that up, and read about its characteristics, and am now satisfied that they are not only glass, but a type of glass that’s perfectly suited for this purpose. Also: I don’t know how scientific this, as the exact measurement of liquid was approximated, but still to the best of my ability I filled two cups with hot water, one was a regular cup, and the other being this “ “ “Thermal Walled Coffee Mug.” And then measured their temperature for 14 minutes. To do this I used a Digital Infrared IR Thermometer….if I get around to this again I’ll use a thermometer that actually sits inside the liquid. The results were as follows:2 Minutes: Cup 90.8f Thermal Walled Cup=91.5f3 Minutes: Cup 90.3f Thermal Walled Cup=91.8f10 Minutes: Cup 85.9f Thermal Walled Cup=86.9f14 Minutes: Cup 83.8f Thermal Walled Cup=83.7f

These coffee mugs are exactly what we wanted.
We are using the mugs for our morning coffee and evening tea.We have found that the mugs keep our beverages hotter longerand we need no coasters since they do not sweat with cold drinksor cause furniture rings with hot drinks. We are totally satisfied.

Looks good but due care is needed.
You can't leave these in the sink or drainer with other wares. After use, it must be dried and put away immediately. However you can hold without burns and the size is good.

Not well made.
Looks amazing, love the way the coffee stays warm. But very cheap made, both on my mugs cracked on the top. My daughter even cut herself after with one. Not Bueno.

I would not recommend these mugs to
They were much thinner than I expected, so they have to be washed by hand. I would be afraid to put them in the dishwasher. I had only had them a week and use them each twice when a crack formed around the bottom of each handle, allowing water to get in between the outer and inner wall. I would not recommend these mugs to anyone

absolute garbage
The glass is Christmas ornament thin. I dont think these would even survive being washed. immediately back in the box to return. Oh wait! Its gonna cost $7 to return them even though I have prime? Worst Amazon purchase ever.

Time will tell
Just received, well packaged. Fits my Kuerig fine. Taller mugs always required removal of the overflow tray to fit. They appear as advertised. If they hold up with long term use I will be delighted. Time will tell. I will call you Chrissy if they don't.
