Thee Absolute best Perspective Drawing Book I've found on Amazon Thus Far
1 Point Perspective2 Point Perspective3 Point PerspectiveMulti-Point PerspectiveCurvi-Linear PerspectiveWork-BookEach Section has;Seeing ItUnderstanding ItApplying ItHow To SequenceThere is also a Brief History about Perspective & Perspective Basics. I give this Book 10 Stars because I need a How To Book that gives indepth information about How to Draw in all Perspective Terms.I like the mini examples along with pictures. This book goes step by step and I also like that there is a work book in the back to practice.I was going to get a Perspective Book made by Dover, but it was sold out. I suggest you read the reviews for that particular book, but this book is Superior when it comes to Perspective Drawing.

Couldn't be more pleased
I'm a hobby landscape and urban sketcher. Perspective still baffles me at times, and my sketches could be vastly improved with more accurate perspective. Like others, I purchased several different books on the topic. Some were far too elementary, and others seemed to showcase some advanced trigonometry that likely only the most dedicated art professional would need to know. This book is it a great middle path. Mark's simple breakdown of See it, Understand it, Apply it is excellent pedagogy. The examples are numerous, varied in media, and most importantly so very clear. Plus, Mark actually gives a great work plan for how to approach different scenes and exercises. He also covers curvilinear perspective in detail. Highly recommend. I donated my other perspective books.

Changed my perspective the day I received it.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants to further their design skills to the professional level. As soon as I received it in the mail, I looked through it and learned a number of things right off the bat. It’s laid out in easy to learn and understand pages and I can tell the author really put the time into making sure the book was well put together. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to further their design work to the next level and ten levels beyond that.

For Plein Air artists and architects when on-location, for eventual e3-D site survey drawings later.
One of the first assignments of a student architect is to go out and sketch traditionally with paper and pencil, then ink, and finally scan into a computer for further use in the studio, 2D and 3D. However, does the student know what to look for in the field? The book's purpose: to teach you what to notice. It is primarily for Plein Air artists (esp. urban sketchers) and architects when on-location (especially student architects). Read the other reviews for more details, but I must add here the book's very good instruction of curvilinear perspective (wide angle). If you look at nothing else in this book look at page 92+ on how to apply this visual tool (think of cinematic 1:2.35 ratio format and beyond for video games). Then continue on page 110 which is basically the sequel to the book already included for free within the book: The Workbook chapter. It's the applications for the entire foregoing chapters. For more get Scott Robertson's How to Draw (and . . . Render) and Marcos Mateu-Mestre's Framed Perspective vol.1 (and maybe vol. 2 for character perspective drawings).

Sketching perspective
The back book cover explains the drawing process better than any page in this book does in my opinion. This book does not contain any drawing process really. It doesn't tell you to draw geometric forms or any complicated perspective rules. It shows you how to see and draw the perspective by getting you to see converging lines and seeing boxes as a 3d-space. Once you learn how to see you can then apply that to your drawing process using the perspective grid lines as guides to aid you in your drawing process. One thing that most perspective books are missing in my opinion are videos to show the process in action. It is not easy, especially for beginners to learn drawing thru text and pictures alone.

This covers it all
The best book that I have found on perspective. Easy to understand. Good illustrations. Covers many different types of perspective.

Great book. Really helpful with learning about and how to draw something in a specific perspective!
I really liked this easy explanations, clear pictures and the last pages with the pages where you can finish the drawings with the guidelines are great too

Just this one book is all you need!
If you are an artist, and you suck because you won't take the time to learn perspective so everything you do has to be called 'abstract', you know who you are! This is the easiest book to read and it explains every type of perspective drawing so plainly. I've read other books on perspective that come across as if the authors want you to see how knowledgeable they are, all the while confusing the reader. This book is cheaper and better. It makes it easier for you to dive into a more challenging work knowing the simple perspective solutions.
