Brilliant product to give new life to old furniture.
I was very impressed with this product. I used the cleaner / primer kit first allowing the necessary time before I applied the first coat of this colour. I had a dark green recliner chair that I was looking to reupholster or give away, but even the charities did not want it as there was a small amount of wear on the seat. Then I discovered this product and it transformed an old green leather recliner into an almost new tan leather chair that looks excellent. As the colour change was quite dramatic, I applied about 3-4 coats plus a bit of final touching up. I used the full bottle and will probably get another for a bit of final touching up. I did not use hairdryer, I just waited the 4 hours between coats. I also did the chair in sections - the back first, then the sides, seat, arms etc - so it took a few days, but each coat only took a few minutes. Worth the wait as my £2k recliner now looks good as new or better. If you are not changing colour dramatically, it will require fewer coats and will be much quicker

Great stuff
This is really good stuff, but not at all like I expected. I was expecting an ink like liquid that would soak strait into the leather. This is thicker and is effectively paint. I had a mottled tan leather suite which is a large 3, large 2 and a foot stall. I did 3 coats on every seam (and there are lots of those on my sofa) and 2 coats on the suite itself, I still have quarter of a 1 litre bottle left. I bought 2,1 litre bottles and the other is completely un opened. Before I 'painted' the sofas I made sure I prepped them as best I could. I used the alcohol cleaner 1st and then the leather prep 2nd, again despite wiping over a few times I still have 3 quarters of each bottle left. With these products a little really does go a long way. For my colouring journey I used an old tupperwear tub (for the paint) a foam roller, an old paint brush, some old face flannels (for cleaning and leather prep) a hair dryer and some wooded chop sticks to hold creases apart and finally rubber gloves. I did both my sofas slightly differently and the 2nd one came out better. I did use filler on some deep scratches. This sofa is around 10-13 years old and now it looks new again. I definitely think the cleaner and prep make a real difference as I missed one spot on the back of one sofa and the way the paint adhered was much better on the prepped area. It took me around 2 1/2 hors per couch and using a hairdryer really, really helps on creases (believe me, it helps ALOT, the 1st sofa i didn't use a dryer and took alot longer) I used the old paint brush to really scrub the dye into the seams and stitching. Then rolled on the paint with the foam roller over bigger areas. Make sure you treat it like wall paint as in if you leave it bubbly or orange skin textured it will dry like that on your leather so make sure you roll it off smoothly and let it soak in. When holding apart the creases, I painted with the brush and blow dried on highest heat setting fanning it back and fourth till touch dry, then remove sticks. If you paint and let the creases touch, when you pull them apart again one side will pull off the paint from the other, plus never fully dry. The texture of the leather feels slightly tougher but not much. Textured look of the leather stays the same. Still feels like leather. I let mine cure for 24 hours and then I added on top chambers leather balm which I've always use on my sofa. I did it to give it extra protection. I'm not sure how long this dye will last. Or of it will scratch off yet. But in all for a cheap make over its 100% a great buy. Its updated my lounge just by changing the colour of the sofa and also made them look more modern. The dye really does go a long way. Be patient with it, I'd defo give yourself a weekend of no sofas as an expectation. If you dye them during the evening like I did, definitely have a day knight inspection as that's when you really do see where you missed. I dropped a few little spots onto my laminate floor and it came up no problem with my mop. Also washed easily off my hands (my glove ripped on my thumb and didn't notice. Didn't due my hands) washed out of the roller fine, did not wash out of clothes as expected. Edit: Sonits been over a month and I had a few patches where this rubbed off. Not massive patches, just where my dog had been sick on the sofa. Maybe the acid in the sick affected this as it hasn't come off anywhere else. I re painted and its been fine ever since. So keep a spare little bottle to hand just in case. I'd still use again.

Easy to use.
I've just finished painting one shoe. I cleaned them first, just using washing up liquid. 4 light coats, using an art brush. I think you'll agree, it's made a huge difference to my trainers. Obviously need to see how they fair being worn outside. But so far, I'm delighted with the results!

Painted a damaged dining chair with fantastic results
I managed to repair a dining chair seat that was badly worn (approx a quarter of the seat area was nearly down to the nap) with a flexible leather filler, then used this paint to repaint the seat area. Very pleased with the results. Luckily the cream colour was only a subtle shade off the original (as I did not want risk painting the whole chair). Admittedly, it did take 4 coats as the paint is somewhat translucent (ish!) but the results were fantastic - so pleased! I've used the chair for a few days and there are no signs of the paint cracking - happy customer :)

Looks good . Doesn’t last
This goes on much better than the first brand I bought. You are able to wipe it on with a sponge rather than dab . My old cream sofas looked amazing and brand new shining black… but .. sadly there is a but .. it wears/ scratches off ! After a month my sofas looked horrendous! So I now have a new chore of touching up the patches weekly or a 2 hour job once a month. I’ll add a photo of the arm redone and the seat after a month so you can compare the difference . I think this would be perfect to match small scratches but to change the colour of your sofa - don’t do it ! Unless you just need to look at it and never sit on it. I’m not sure how it can be a dye - more like a covering , a paint . Even on the areas where leather is really worn it still wears off .

Great product, does what it says it will do
This is excellent. I damaged my white leather bag and couldn't find a replacement I liked. I thought Id give this a go. It was easy to apply and dried relatively quickly. I'm not sure how the marks on my bag occurred but it took around 10 applications to fully hide the marks. So perservere! I am very pkeased with this product.
