I made a few mistakes when soldering wires onto the pots. Once I zoomed in on the colored instructions I realized I put them on the wrong lugs. Once I swapped those, the pedal worked. I had fun putting it together.Looking forward to putting some fun graphics on the box and putting it on my pedal board.Would recommend.

It doesn’t come with instructions, but it’s pretty easy to figure out if you’ve worked on stuff before. It doesn’t come with everything you need though, you’ll need to get some small garage wire to install the led and to connect to the 1/4” jacks.

The media could not be loaded. Great value for the money and an amazing learning experience.Sounds just like I wanted it to. Dialed in the fuzz tone I was looking for quickly. I will say this for those who are looking to build, get a magnifying glass with an LED light on it to clamp on your soldering station. It will help you a tone when having to identify some of the parts.Build went very smooth even with the black and white instructions.

So I bought a delay, a fuzz, reverb, a klon, and a tremelo all from the same company here. I left a delay pedal review as well... I put the delay together perfectly as I could to the non existent directions, looked at pictures of the products on other sites already wired together, I tried a few things wiring wise and compared it to people who built the same pedals on YouTube and it still didn't work. So I contacted the seller... told them I tried everything and they sent me a different wiring diagram that they in all honesty should if sent with it, but even that didn't work. So I told them it plain out didn't work and they did the barest of minimums they could which was nothing. I have 5 or six pedals of theres I have assembled and they all do the same thing... which is nothing. I'm no stranger to building electronics. I make synths, video mixers, all sorts of stuff, and I even got a pedal kit from another company (parasit studios) to work, but these... these have me eternally angry. Lack of directions, lack of help from the company, just a few months of burning myself and feeling like I wasted a ton of money on a few kits that do absolutely nothing. Go to musikding, parasit studios, fuzzdog, about anywhere else to build a pedal. The price on these I know are appealing, but it's not beginner friendly at all, and I mean any model they sell because I've built over half of what they offer and I have a bunch of cool looking paper weights.

The picture is the sum of documentation I received with the pedal. I had a full set of colored wires and the parts were labeled fine.A photo copy of the pcb layout was hardly sufficient. I am a newcomer to electronics but populating the board was pretty straghtforward. However, the bad photocopy had labeled the jacks completely wrong and the 9v jack was unreadable. I highly recommend testing before you put in the enclosure. I think some of the reviews that said it flat didnt work may have run into the same issue. When it didn't I looked at the picture here and then looked at the jack itself. Th elabels for tip and ring are wrong. Some rewiring and it's good to go.It sounds neat. I can't really tell what kind of muff it is, it takes a lot of noodling to find the sounds I'm after, but it's a fun experience in problem solving and head scratching. I would not recommend.

First off, I would like to say I had a lot of fun building this. Also, my hat goes off to the person that hand wrote all the tiny labels on the parts. With that being said, I couldn't get it to work. No sound at all, and only the light came on when I hit the switch. Now the fact that it didn't work could totally be an error on my part, but who knows. Now what I didn't like about this product is this: the casing is pretty small, so everything is pretty cramped (which may also contribute to why I wasn't able to get this to work, although, if you read other reviews, which I recommend for further useful information, some managed just fine), some pieces were mislabeled (There is a review that sorts this out), and the directions aren't very clear...well I thought they were clear enough, but look where that got me, so be ready for that. So 3 stars for fun, good price, and faster than expected delivery.
