Anyone know the easiest and most perfessional way to install this in a 2007 slt cummins?

Honestly, take it to a reputable shop if you don't already know how. Spend the extra money for the more professional shop and the quality of work will pay you back by not having your OEM wiring chopped into.

Can you unplug the mic or is it permanently connected?

The system is made with the mic built in so taking it out would just be a hassle making it look right

Does the volume knob effect the siren or the mic

The volume knob is for both the siren tone and the mic. Hope this helps.

does the speaker handle rain and water well?

It looks like I’m the only one that has had issues, went through the car wash yesterday and now it’s not as loud as it used to be. I have it mounted facing up so hopefully It’s just water sitting in the speaker and not actually in the internals
