Question 1

Why do some boxes say 11g of protien and others say 13g. But they are both the same cereal

Accepted Answer

Thanks for your interest in Magic spoon! You’re right, both protein counts are for the same cereal! Our nutritional label has been updated, but don’t worry - nothing has changed about the Magic Spoon inside the box. The FDA serving size for all cereals has increased slightly, so our serving size and protein before the change was 11g in a 3/4 cup serving. Now our 1 cup serving has 13-14g of protein. But nothing inside the box (not the amount you receive, or the delicious taste) is different!

Question 2

Is this cereal made with solid gold nuggets or something? That’s some expensive cereal.

Accepted Answer

Hi there! Even though Magic Spoon looks and tastes like familiar cereals, nutritionally, it’s more similar to a high-end protein bar or keto smoothie. And at $1.95 per bowl, it’s far cheaper than other healthy breakfast options--or even your morning coffee! Creating our healthier formulas also requires more expensive ingredients than those sugary wheat and corn cereals use, but we are committed to bringing you the best!

Question 3

Does this cereal help with weight loss?

Accepted Answer

Hi there! We'd recommend you consult with a medical professional for weight loss advice, but Magic Spoon is a great option for lots of health goals! Compared to regular cereal, we've switched out the carbs and sugar for protein, so you'll stay full for longer without the energy crash. It's an especially great option for people on the keto diet or following a low carb lifestyle!
