Now Foods Supplements, Biotin 1,000 mcg Amino Acid Metabolism This was recommended by my doctor. Reasonably priced. This helps my hair and nail growth. Easy to swallow.

These pills are easy to swallow and don't cause stomach upset. They don't have any unusual smells to them. They have a smooth gelatin texture to them. They look like, well, pills. I haven't noticed any difference in my skin, but, I'm not sure I was really looking for one. It certainly hasn't hurt my strength and might have helped, we acquired a home gym recently. Overall I recommend this item if you are looking for a Biotin supplement.

I have purchased Now Biotin supplements many times over. They are easy on the stomach ,they are small in size, no taste, no odor and easy to swallow.

Only 4 stars so far because I haven’t been taking it too long to tell a huge difference yet. I’ve been sick for 6 months with C. diff. Having a intestinal bacterial infection makes it so your body has issues absorbing B vitamins and vitamin K. My hair was falling out in clumps. I was so devastated over it! So far in the shower I am losing about half of what I normally do. I currently have my time of the month so my iron is low, causing more hair fall. I will update in future when results are more accurate! I’ve taken before pictures and in a few months I will post results! Definitely recommend taking in combination with pantothenic acid. When you have one or the other in surplus, the other becomes deficient. That’s why some people who take biotin end up with acne. Biotin is for hair and nails, pantothenic acid is for acne! Hope this helps! UPDATE: it’s been 3 weeks since starting and my hair has definitely grown over an inch! I am so so happy with this. Still recommend taking it with pantothenic acid. UPDATE (7/10/20) My hair is filling in so well & my nails always look really nice. I definitely still recommend these!(: I’ll skip biotin and only take pantothenic acid for a day or two. Sometimes too much biotin will break me out if I don’t skip it.
