I waited and waited for it to be released-finally, the day came for the release. I was *not* disappointed! This book has some very challenging pictures, do not be fooled into thinking this color-by-number is for children! They even provide you with both a natural palette or a vivid color palette to choose for each picture. The beginning of the book shows examples of what the natural color palettes will turn out like. At the back of the book, there are 8 different masks to color and cut out, making it exciting for even the little ones to be involved! Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and I would definitely recommend this! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After 36 other coloring books... *by K***J on January 19, 2018* Great coloring book. I love the color set suggestions. As an avid colorer (is that a word?), this is one of the best of the 36! (yikes I know!) books I have colored in a WIDE variety of styles and themes. This book is great to grow and create. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love the concept but has some issues *by S***D on October 24, 2016* I really like the idea and concept of these books. The designs are very intricate and detailed so coloring one will keep you busy for awhile. There is a great variety of animals to color and I love the color options they provide.There are a few things here I wish they'd improve for future books. I just got the dog book and tried it out today and it too has the same issues. Single sided designs would be more preferred but I guess it's a way of keeping the costs down.Second, the lines and numbers are still very visible once you color. If you are using a light color palette, you can't really cover it up. I've tried several different brands of colored pencils and had this issue with all of them. Perhaps they could use an overlay of some kind that can be placed over the design and flipped back and forth? You could still have the color by number concept but no pesky lines. Or use a different type of paper. The paper is a bit glossy and I find colored pencil doesn't lay down as nicely as I'm used to.I think the mask designs are a bit of a waste. It's marketed as an adult coloring book. I don't think adults are going to want that.
