Initially I was a bit worried about reading some reviews online to say it's quite a narrow fit. I don't really have narrow feet and I've tried both the 'medium fit' and 'narrow fit' insoles that come with the boots (note: the 'medium fit' ones come already imbedded in the boots) - and they both fit my feet absolutely fine. My record with getting blisters with any hiking boots or running trainers etc is terrible. I really struggle with them however I took these pair of boots for their first test along a Hadrian's Wall walk (a bit overkill I know - but just to try them out) - and I didn't get any blisters. They are very comfortable, snug and secure and gave me no discomfort straight out of the box. No breaking in required. I particularly like the rubber-like protection going around the lower part of the uppers - it'll be ideal when I go to the Lake District. I also like the way the laces work in tangent with the '3F system' to really secure your ankle. I also like how the boots are compatible with semi-automatic crampons for when I feel ready to experience this. The grip underfoot is excellent. The boots straight out of the box feel like they've been built to last - very high quality and with premium materials. The boots of course look so cool - especially with the other colours that I wear. I will say that I was slightly annoyed with actually getting the right boots via ordering here as originally I was sent a size 11.5 - NOT the size 11 I actually ordered. This was easily resolvable but felt like such a silly error to make. Overall, highly recommended for anyone hiking on any terrain in the UK I'd say and a good starting pair of boots to get into winter mountaineering. Unless you regularly have problems with your feet being too wide for footwear, these should be absolutely fine.

I bought the shoes a few 4 years ago and they lasted a few years. I wanted the boots before. I just received them today the red color and as soon as I opened the box I was happy. I ordered the 7 and they fit perfectly. They look so cool . I’d ware them out and about, even though i ordered them for going camping and walking. I normally never give a review on the first day but they are so comfortable. I will 100 percent buy another pair ( different color) in a couple of months as I’d love two pairs. All in all very happy and very fast delivery!

Really good boots ideal for those mountain walks

C'est la 6 ème voir même là 7ème que j'ai ! pour moi c'est ma chaussure idéal, j'ai aussi des Mammut mais je ne suis pas aussi bien dedans et des Lowa (que j'aime pas) et j'aime beaucoup mieux marcher avec mes Ms Rapace J'ai aussi trois autre paire de Savéva basse Mountain Trainer 2 et une Mountain Trainer Lite pour les sorties moins accidentées la Lite souffre trop dans les pierriers les Alpine Extrêm là sont top Comme dit le dicton : quand on trouve chaussure à son pied on les gardes Dommage que l'on puisse plus ressemeler J'ai essayer une fois...mais le reste de la chaussure à trop vieilli ...au niveau des coutures Et sur les nouveau modèles on peut mettre des crampons semi automatique

Al principio cogí un 42,5 pensando que me quedarían bien, pero las cambié por mi número habitual que es el 42 y quedan como un guante. Así que si tienes dudas sobre la talla, coge tu número habitual. Las he usado 2 veces en rutas de 15km y 20km, una de ellas bastante pedregosa y las botas son una maravilla, muy robustas pero no se sienten nada pesadas. En impermeabilidad de momento les doy un 10, en una de las rutas llovió y sin problema, también en casa las he metido debajo del grifo de la ducha durante un rato y no ha calado el agua. La suela es un poco resbaladiza en rocas mojadas, pero bueno lo normal en esas condiciones como cualquier bota. En definitiva, estoy muy contento con la compra.
