Does this have a notch at the pivot point?

Barely. It is much smaller than that on my other squares. About enough room for the point of a very sharp pencil.

Does this have a pivot point?

It has the word “pivot” printed on it, and an arrow pointing to the corner, but the actual pivot is tiny. Enough room for the point of a mechanical, or very sharp pencil, but that’s about it. I compared it with my other squares and they have more of a notch than this one.

When setting up a laser can you see the laser in the square good?Since it’s like a dark blue

As long as the laser is not blue

Is this square made in the USA?

I just checked & cannot find any stamp what so ever on the Irwin. I have 3 squares, 1 silver alum empire made in USA, 1 Orange plastic swanson made in USA and the IRWIN (no stamp) is the easiest to read.
