Five stars for prompt delivery, as sods law would have it, weather changed so not been able to use it as yet. But I will say, the instructions are clear and easy to understand, the unit itself was easy enough to assemble which also includes the box spanner to do this. Just waiting for a dry day. Further to my last finally got to use it when I pruned our lemon tree. Absolutely brilliant, mulched the small branches brilliantly.

For garden jobs with small twigs it works fine. I would have liked to see a bigger chute but it is perfect for small jobs. Price was ok for the size and easy to assemble.

Pleased with my purchase, it is noisy but it does a good job. Used on 35mm diameter branches no problem. Used on conifers no issues. Deciduous again no problem, slows down with the the leaves. I found putting a clean branch through cleared the cutter. Nice working height and well made. One of those purchases when you wonder how you managed without it, save on trips to the tip or additional top dressing.

I have a lot of garden waste (hedge cuttings, small branches etc) that needs clearing and didn't want to spend months using my green waste bin or paying to run to the waste center. I thought this would be a good investment to help clear the garden.Unfortunately I am really disappointed with this products performance. Here are the negatives:- It's really slow to process - putting waste into the machine is slow, the opening isn't very big and each time you have to use the plastic board provided to push it down, which you have to constantly push the material you are shredding, the machine won't pull it through for you- It's really easy to jam, just by putting in a medium volume of material in one go, or when I put through some twigs, much smaller than the quoted max diameter, this jammed the machine. It then took me more time, unscrewing the front cover, to then show the blades and remove the jam.- The fact the machine wont pull the material down makes it especially difficult when shredding branches as they're hard to push down with the plastic board- the machine is also very loud for a garden machine, so it won't be good in built up environments.I would not recommend this garden shredder to anyone. I now have a really expensive piece of machinery in my garage which I will never use again, because it is so time consuming and inefficient I cannot spend time using it. I will have to pay someone to come with an industrial shredder to clear all the waste I had.Do not buy this.

Works incredibly well for an electric machine.I was surprised that the noise level wasn't as bad as some had said!Shreds really finely, perfect for munching!

When the shredder arrived I was impressed by its compactness and ease of build. I then used the shredder for the first time on the 11/07/24 and after less than two hours of use the shredder stopped cutting the twigs and garden waste. I cleaned up the blades but to no avail as they had lost their sharpness so will have to turn them round for the next time. I was careful not to put anything more than approx 2cm in diameter into the shredder thinking that this would help the longevity of the blades. Guess I got a ‘Friday afternoon machine’!

Brilliant mulcher for the price - it shreds sticks easily - and easy to take it apart if gets stuck and very quick to unclog it.The bag provided with it is too small, you are better off buying some garden waste bags from Lidl for 1.5€ and use those instead. Those are the right size.Overall I am delighted with the machine itself.

Bought this compact shredder as a replacement for an ageing Bosch screw shredder. Easy to assemble, clear instructions in the box and it has a long power lead. It’s quite lightweight so easily portable, but stable in operation. It ate nearly everything I fed it, but does jam on branches of 25mm thickness.Overall satisfied with its performance so far, only missing a star because it is very loud in operation - 106dB for prolonged periods of use means ear defenders.
