Sweet Love- A Sweet Series Introduction : A Men of Honor spin-off (The Sweet Series Book 1)

They really need to make it where we can give books a higher rating than 5 stars because Sweet Love deserves more. OH MY GOD what a book. The Men of Honor Series was my first set of books that I have read by KC Lynn and I thoroughly enjoyed each but Sawyer and Grace stood out to me and was by far my absolute favorite. I am so glad KC Lynn decided to extend their story and bring us more of Sexy Sawyer and Grace "Cupcake". Sweet Temptation is the first and if you haven't read it it you must so you will understand their story but I would recommend reading the whole Men of Honor Series so you can understand who everyone is including their friends, as they make appearances in this book as well.Sweet Temptation brings you their story from the beginning and how they, with time and patience from Sawyer ( he is very arrogant and cocky and wanted Grace from the first minute he layed eyes on her but knew she would need time), slowly fell in love with each other and how they both helped each other heal from old wounds from their past.Sweet Love jumps 6 years later after they are married...they now have 6 year old twins..Hope and Parker (OMG how precious these two are). Hope is so much like Grace...heart full of gold and sweet. Parker is a mini clone of Sawyer...all the way down to the cockiness lol. Parker has a huge heart too though and is very protective of Grace and Hope. In this book Sawyer and Grace are faced with a decision that could literally destroy their family but could result in losing each other also...( curious to know what happens???? go one click and read away). Their love is tested and will bring ugly tears to your eyes but it will show you how strong their love really is and how strong the camaraderie is between them and their friends. I loved every second of this book and didn't put it down not once from the time I started it. KC Lynn has a way of writing that will blow your mind. This woman can write about anything and make it such a powerful story that will have you feeling the emotions along with the characters down to your bones. I truly can't say enough about this book and recommend it to everyone!!!!

if you thought you already loved Sawyer and Grace, prepare to fall in love all over again!Sexy Sawyer is still the charming man that everyone fell in love with in Sweet Temptation. He's strong, caring, charming and will never think twice about watching out for the ones that he loves.Grace is still the sweet and kind hearted woman that can never say no to anyone. Her heart is so big and she loves with everything she can. She will always be my favorite.We are also introduced to Hope and Parker. They totally steal the show. Hope is so sweet and innocent just like her mama while Parker is a mini sawyer..(lord help us) They both stole a piece of my heart.In Sweet Love we find Sawyer and Grace happily married, raising a family and living a normal everyday life. But an unexpected guest brings a tough decision for Grace and creates a little bit of tension. Asked to make an impossible decision, Sawyer and Grace both have to do a little soul searching. But in the end, we find that no matter what, Sawyer will always stand by his cupcake and Grace will never have to fear about not having love and support.KC Lynn knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat for both good and bad times! I highly recommend having a box of tissues handy. you'll need them!and in true KC Lynn fashion, you'll fall in love with all of her characters again and at the same time have something to look forward too!this is a must read!!!!!

I ADORE this couple to pieces. So, so happy that we got more swoon-worthy times, more giggles, more fun banter & more SEXY SAWYER & his cupcake!That said, I wasn't in love with a good portion of the plot... well, the whole reason why Grace's dad came back into the picture. Every fan of this series knows how sweet Grace is & that she'd bend over backwards to help ANYONE out. Her doing it this time, not necessarily to help her father but someone close to them both... *sigh* Call me greedy or mean or whatever but I hated how it upset Sawyer & the kids. Of course they accepted her decision & stuff that came with it but the whole situation irked me.Putting my complaints about the plot aside, the sex scenes & romance in this were AMAZING! I wouldn't expect anything less from this author but being able to feel the chemistry between the characters & connect with them does wonders for a reader. Not to mention that it certainly helps you overlook the plot, if it wasn't your favorite. I could read about these Men of Honor/Acts of Honor characters for forever. :)Hope & Parker have got to be the cutest kids EVER! Hope aka Shortcake helping her mama, naming all the pies like she did, talking about her Prince Charming with Sawyer... I LOVED IT ALL! And Parker protecting his mama, writing that little note to her, being a mini-Sawyer himself... I WANT MORE!But OMG... that last sentence about Hope at the very end of the book... WTFrak?! Bring me some next generation stories, STAT!!Cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the series, Sweet Haven! I've gotta know what's really going on with Sawyer's sister, Sam!!

I really adored this story, sexy Sawyer and his cupcake Grace are my favourite Men of Honour couple and I was so excited to read more about them and the life they have built since Sweet Temptation. Even though I've not quite caught up with all the related books beforehand.However, that didn't stop my enjoyment of this beautifully written, emotional, endearing and utterly heartwarming novella.Which also meant getting to chance to catch up with not only Sawyer andbGrace but their friends and growing families. As well as the introduction of some new characters and recurring ones (especially Sawyer's younger sister Sam) Who I'm hoping will get her own story at some point in the future.As for this one, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is a fan of this couple and the Men of Honour series itself.

I can't wait for her book either!Then we have the storyline. You will have initial reactions and emotions and then you will be made to think and REALLY think, and put yourself in the situation. And you will feel it all. From 40% on I felt every single emotion possible in my chest. My heart raced, ached, broke and soared. It was pain and hope.And it was stunning.It was perfect.I loved it so much more than I thought possible. The thing with KC Lynn's books? They feel like home. You've got these couples you fall in love with and then this group of friends who become a fierce loving family. And as they grow you get to fall more and more in love. And with each book you feel like you're part of that family and that's hard to get with every book but KC Lynn does. She tackles hard subjects and situations but the immense love that is there every time and the feeling of familiarity. I can't wait for more and more of these books. I, honestly never want to say goodbye to any of these characters. I really don't know how KC ever will and here's hoping she never does!!

Everything by K.C. Lynn is outstandingly brilliant, we've fell in love with all the guys and girls that feature in both series and now a third and everything that's inbetween, there's never an ounce of disappointment and it's all completely addictive and it's all credit to this brilliant author, the fabulous story lines and wonderful characters.. We've laughed because of the brilliant humour and banter and we've cried.!Sweet Love is The 1st book in this new series and if the title isn't a give away, it's all about Grace and Sawyer, their twins Hope and Parker and yes it does blow you away because it's that good.As well as all the familiar faces we are introduced to some new ones through reason's good, bad or sad it doesn't matter because they are waiting in the wings and we know we will have their stories to look forward to and then eventually Hope, Parker and the other children.. The next generation, it reminds me of Jennifer Foor and what she has bought us.. The Mitchell-Healy series, it never gets old it's what we love to read.To be honest you could go on and on there's so much to say about Sweet Love but then again that's nothing new, from beginning to the very end you are taken on a wonderful heartfelt story but as K.C. Lynn said.. It's been left open and I'm so excited for what's to come.We've been kept waiting for Kolan's story, we've been teased with what little we know about him and that's all we need for the anticipation to be fever pitch and if the sample of An Act of Obsession is anything to go by, it's going to be another riveting read.!Thank you for these fabulous series/stories ..

I'm the first to admit I'm bad at writing reviews but KC you totally blew me away with Sweet Love, I thought I adored them but this just stole my heart all over again, when u think you've read everything about Sawyer u see new insights and his burning love he has for he's family. I've never cried so much in my life but it was so well worth it. Hope is just so precious like grace and Parker has that fierce protective side like sawyer but also that sweet side to him like his mum. I have to say I adore the relationship between sawyer & hope and after reading that final sentence I know I'm going to go through it with her story...ugh! Damn u woman lolTo see this family going through situations that you know are right but you just want to protect them it brings out your own protective nature which I'm sure sounds strange as its a book lol but it truly does, I feel so much love for them all its ridiculous. KC just grabs you from the start to finish with the way she writes you know it comes straight from her heart...If you haven't read the men of honour series PLEASE do so you will not be disappointed.Thank you for writing such an amazing book I didn't want it to end, I miss them already ❤️

I love KC Lynn style of writing she is a talented writer who really makes me feel the pain and love her characters experience. The Men Of Honor Series is one of my Favourites with Sawyer & Grace being my Favourite couple. So when I heard there was going to be a Novella I couldn't wait to get more of Sexy Sawyer & CupCake.Even though this is a Novella it is longer than most but hey who's going to complain about that, not me for damn sure.We catch up with the Sweetest Couple & the Most Adorable twins Parker & Hope on the morning of their first day of school. "Mornin', Daddy," Hope greets me with her megawatt smile that always does funny to my chest no matter how many times I see it. I fake a scowl."Hey, you're not my Cupcake.""Nope, it's me, your Shortcake."Sawyer is still that sexy, dirty talking protective alpha who loves his cupcake, but we now get to see him as a very loving very protective Daddy. I love that he's still so cock sure of himself for me I love the cheeky side to him. "That's nothing new, baby. I'm brilliant, you know this."Grace is a loving sweet mother and has an amazing bond with her children knowing life is so precious, To read them interacting as a family brought a smile to my face and warmed my heart. Loving Sawyer and Grace individually and as a couple was brilliant but nothing compared to loving them as a family. "Y'all look beautiful." "Thanks, Mama." Hope's little arms squeeze me tight while Parker steps back. "Excuse me, but i think you mean handsome."How the story develops is very emotional, What do you do when your faced with a life or death decision and its not your life in the balance? It was very hard to read how Grace and Sawyer handled such a difficult situation. Grace's heart is so loving and thinking like a mother in wanting to do the right and honourable thing.Sawyer wanting to protect his family even knowing its not his decision and feeling helpless was heartbreaking. I'm not sure I could have handled it as well as either of them did.I loved how even though he disagreed with Grace's decision in the beginning, he still supported her and gave her the love and strength that she needed most from him. He protected her and his family and I think I fell even more in love with him for it. Especially the tender way he cared for Grace after everything was done. Swoon worthy!!The awesome four some is made even better with the added bonus of their extended family and friends, There's an intriguing side story with Sam, Sawyer's sister that is unresolved. With Sawyer's protective side coming out over Sam. "My sister is my business and always will be" Already looking forward to that book!!I'm so glad that we get to visit the whole cast of characters from the series but also that they were only snippets and the novella focused on just the Evans family.The more you read of KC Lynn's books the more books you want made around all the characters including the children we never want this roller coaster of a ride to end.“Hope told me tonight she wants to make a special pie for Beckett. Her cheeks turned pink. Like…she was embarrassed or some s***. She was also talking about finding her Prince Charming one day. What the is up with that?” Grace shrugs. “She’s six.” “Exactly! She shouldn't know what Prince Charming is.” She laughs, like it’s funny. “Sawyer, she’s the perfect age to learn about him. It’s a fairy tale.” “Fairy tale, my. She shouldn't be thinking about meeting her Prince Charming or baking pies for any boys but her dad or her brother.” “Don’t be ridiculous. Beckett is just as much her friend as he is Parker’s, even though he picks on her most of the time. Although, Kayla thinks he has a crush on her.” I tense. “What crush? I thought we just established they’re six.”There is so many endearing parts to this book and if like me you highlight/mark out your favourite parts you may like me find you've highlighted most of the book (giggles).So sit back and enjoy another FANTASIC book and curse KC afterwards for making your heart bleed through another beautiful story. A WORTHY READ!!! Puffy eyes and all.
