Sturdier than I thought.
I just received my Tonyko Inversion Gravity Boots this morning and was pleasantly surprised. The first thing that impressed me was the product was double boxed with another (sturdier) Amazon box. The original didn't look very sturdy. Nevertheless, my shipment made it to Alaska with no problems within 7 days. Upon unboxing the product, I noticed the boots were wrapped clear plastic and no documentation followed. As far as appearance goes, they look exactly like they do in the picture. The other main thing I noticed was the weight of the product, which pleased me. It was much heavier than I previously thought. The foamy part of the leg cushion feels like thick armaflex to me. It looks like its held on to the metal bands with adhesive only as far as I can tell. It seems to be forming a good bond to the locking metal band so I have no concerns there. The band and the hook feel as if they're both made out of steel. Not sure on the thickness, but judging by the weight and the fact that I can't bend it at all there's no doubt it's strong enough to hold my weight (180 lbs) no problem. The hinge that connects to two bands together is connected with three rivets on each side and folds smoothly back and forth evenly with no deviation. The latch looks like a draw type and locks down tight. Overall, I feel like this product is solidly put together. After inspecting the boots I felt really confident about putting them to the test. I read in another review that there was concern about the hooks coming off the bar because of the rounded part being fairly wide. For me, this wasn't a concern as I have a 1" diameter pull up bar. If anything though, I am going to keep an eye on this. I noticed that when I do an inverted sit-up it's best to keep my body stationary and make a controlled movement to the up position. Personally, it just seems like bad form to not do that as well. One last thing. After a few inverted sit-ups I noticed something. I was barely able to get back to the start position to lift the boots off the bar. I forget to mention that they do include a little strap in the box. Maybe it has something to do with this, I don't know, because their wasn't any documentation provided with mine. One thing that I thought about doing is using my dog's leash to throw around the bar to pull myself back up. Or you might also use it as a safety that you could attach to a riggers belt. Update 9/23/17: A few things. The dog leash and the riggers belt is unnecessary in my opinion. These boots have held up fine, but it's worth being sure not to handle/use them roughly either. I wear leg socks with mine to protect the foam and also make sure not to scrape them on anything because the foam can/will tear. To stop the back/forth swinging while inverted just touch the ground/wall/etc. and catch yourself. Do your repetitions slow and controlled and keep your lower body steady as to avoid movement of the hooks on the bar. 5/5 stars.

SO much better than the Teeter Boots!
I'm 6' 214 lb's. If like me you love inversion and have a Teeter table (or other) but hate the Teeter anti gravity boots these are WAY more comfy and WAY easier to get on and off. I suffer from lower back sciatica pain and inversion is incredibly helpful. However the original anti-grav boots from Teeter are just miserable to get on. So much so that I stopped trying. These boots have solved that issue and I'm once again hanging upside down much to the relief of my lower back!

what I needed at a good price
I have used an Inversion table system for many years. Recently it has been too hard on my feet to use. I ordered these boots to try to adapt to what I have and it is working out just fine. The boots are well cushioned and sturdy and have been helping avoid the painful pressure issue I was having on my feet with just the bars on the Inversion table. Very please with this find.

good quality well made feel safe hangin in them real good on the back feel great after hanging and doing upside down sit up's I'm 70 years old and these feel great to hang like grandpa from the munsters and i do these exercises after a triple by pass and a defibrillator insert within the last 2 yrs. also this is the 3rd pair I've bought my first being purchased in 1972 when I was in the Navy, these are awesome even at seventy helps loosen stuff stuck to the walls of your stomach, and other innards using gravity to break the build up in your digestive tract, man these are cool you should get a pair your mate will love them to helps loosen fat and builds your abs Wont hold you if your more than 250lbs. don't do it drunk or on Drugs not good for you anyways. just thing brings knew meaning to just hanging around!

These boots are heavy
Before you buy, make sure you can lift the weight of these boots to invert your ankles, to clip the boots onto your bar. These boots are very heavy duty, thus "heavy". They were comfortable to put on, but they are so heavy, that I was unable to lift my ankles (with boots) up to my pull-up bar, to clip the boots in. This is not a "ding" on the boots themselves (they are well made, heavy duty, and comfortable), but the weight of these boots made it impossible for me to use.

Good results
My back been stiff lately so i gave this graviy boots a try. And let me tell you doing at least a set of two reps of three minutes every other day youโll start seeing some improvement. It feels weird at first due to being upside down but you get use too after a few reps. It decompresses your spine discs making you feel more flexible. Well at least in my case. I like it better than a inversion table, i think is more effective.

Elbow straps make these easier to use
These are an amazing addition to my garage gym. After using them I feel much better when I wake up in the morning. Iโm not a chiropractor, but I think these help adjust my back. (Not to be taken as medical advice) When I first used them I realized that while I could grab the bar and pull myself up, I could not easily reach up to dismount. However I have these elbow straps that make it easy to dismount safely. Iโm so glad I didnโt get stuck! UPDATE: after many months I still use these regularly. I had a wooden pull up bar that my friend noticed was slightly bending when I used it. Not so safe. I replaced it with a metal bar. Good to go for years I hope! Still five stars and recommended to upgrade your workout. Doing total inversion sit ups are challenging but great!

Sturdy well made boots but for me uncomfortable fit
These boots are well made and the extra safety device on the clasps is a welcome upgrade to my old boots. Unfortunately they cut off the circulation in my feet in approximately 1 minute of use and are painful to use. I bought them to replace my 90s era boots that were showing their age. With my old boots I could easily stay upside down for 3 min. or more. I tried these last night and I had to stop before 2 minutes because my feet were killing me. I'm not a large man 5'8 170 lbs., but these boots must be made for tiny and/or extremely skinny people. I'm hoping they will break in with use. Add-on: I realized after I wrote this review that the hooks are lower than on my previous boots. They were squeezing my feet between the foot wrest and the hook on bar on my inversion table. If I wear them without my sneakers they feel somewhat better but still not as comfortable as my old boots. The foam on these is softer and allow the metal part of the boot to angle up against my legs creating a pressure point.

Top zum Aushรคngen
Ich benutze es um meine Wirbelsรคule zu entspannen. Wenn man Probleme mit dieser, speziell Bandscheibenschรคden hat, ist es genial. Gerade wenn man viel am Schreibtisch sitzt
