It is my favorite fidget to carry with me. I can keep it in my pocket and no one notices I am messing with it. It helps me keep calm when I get overwhelmed in crowded spaces and it is not very loud to fidget with. Also the bristles are very soft and there are plenty of them so I can stash them in my car, by my desk, pretty much anywhere I hang out I have one of these bad boys laying around including the one I carry everywhere

My son (almost 4) is autistic. He’s been having MAJOR sensory meltdowns lately that are getting aggressive. His occupational therapist showed me how to do skin brushing, and it seems to help him. We’re aiming for every 2 hours right now, but sometimes it’s whenever we can get it done. He seems to LOVE these!! Unfortunately, they look like fidget toys to him so he’s always stealing them, stacking them, and turning them into boats for his cars in the tub. 😂 the bristles remind me of those cradle cap brushes they give you in the hospital. I haven’t tried any of the other popular brands (like TheraPressure?), so I can’t compare them…. But it’s a heck of a lot better than the dry body brush we were using temporarily (surprisingly, he loved how rough that one was). I always do joint compressions and body squeezes after brushing his arms, back, and legs. So far I’ve noticed him staying more regulated during the day, and he’s also starting to eat more!!!!!!!! That’s a huge deal, because he went through a big food regression after the holidays. He’s still only eating about 4-5 safe foods, but he’s acting hungry again. I highly recommend these, but please do your research and ask an occupational therapist to teach you the proper way to do it. Hope this helps!! 🤗

These sensory brushes are simple, effective, and well made. The bristles provide good sensory input without being uncomfortable, and they’re easy to hold and clean. Great therapeutic product.

The actual brushes are smaller than they look in the picture. However, they are smooth, and offers sensory regulation to my clients. They calm overactive nerves and helps the body process everyday touch without feeling overwhelmed. Brushing improves focus and helps the children with autism or ADHD stay grounded and attentive during daily routines.
