I love to walk barefoot, even when I walk my dogs in our neighborhood. (My feet and ankles always hurt after I have to wear shoes) Due to the summer heat I’ve been walking at night and since I can’t always see what’s potentially beneath my feet I decided I should wear something and came across these. This might be my best Amazon purchase under $10. They allow your foot/toes to expand and feel like you are barefoot except with a thin layer of protection. They are labeled water shoes on the packaging so I guess they would be great for hikes near rivers and streams also. They fit true to size and are holding up well. I’ve worn them daily for a few weeks now and they look brand new. I have not worn them in sand yet but they would probably be good beach shoes also. I’ve seen a lot of very expensive “barefoot” zero drop shoes lately and I might consider giving them a try now for times I need something that looks fancier since these have been so comfortable for my feet. For everyday at home, yard and dog walks I’ll stick with these.

The beach shoes look like they are made of good quality materials, and the design is simple and comfortable. They seem perfect for wearing at the beach or pool, and they feel lightweight and easy to use. Overall, the product itself looks durable and practical for everyday summer activities. However, I experienced an issue with the sizing when ordering. Every time I selected my correct size, I received a different size instead. This was a bit frustrating because it required returns and extra waiting time. The problem was not with the shoes themselves, but with the order fulfillment process. Despite this inconvenience, I still believe the shoes are good and serve their purpose well. If the sizing and shipping accuracy improve, this would definitely be a great purchase. I recommend double-checking the size as soon as the package arrives.

I wanted a minimal shoe to protect my feet from oyster beds and tree roots and unseen sea-floor hazards when I started kayaking 10 months ago. These have done the job beautifully, allowing me to get in and out of the kayak on all sorts of ground without worrying about my feet. I've walked on top of sharp oysters and not felt a thing. The shoes slip on and off very fast, so they don't encumber my routine. When I'm back from a paddle, I rinse them off while they're still on my feet, and leave them outdoors to dry. After ten months of rough use, the shoes are starting to fall apart. I've worn them about 50 times, and sometimes left them out in the Florida sun to dry. The stretchy uppers are now fading from black to gray. The "collar" (the ribbon of material surrounding the big hole where your foot goes in) is starting to separate from one of the uppers. A thin cloth lining is peeling away from the top of the removable rubber insole (it started peeling away after just a month or so of use), leaving the exposed rubber a little (but only a little) slimy against the foot. So the shoe could be more durable. But at this price, for the protection it provides my feet and the ease of getting it on and off, it's been great for me. Now that I am a more experienced and regular kayaker, when this pair of shoes finally wears out, I will probably look first for a pair that's likely to last, say, 5 times as long and cost only, say, twice as much, without sacrificing protection and ease of slipping on and off. But I'm not sure I'll find such a pair, and if I don't, I'll be pretty happy to reorder a pair of these. Pros: - Protects the sole of your foot from seashells, tree roots, etc. - Light, unbulky, "minimal" shoe - The stretchy upper hugs your foot - Slip on and off easily - Can be rinsed off while still on your foot and left outdoors to dry - Low price Cons: - Could be more durable - The cons that go along with a "minimal" shoe - no arch support, almost no cushioning against things dropped on your toes from above

I actually really love these water shoes, I got a 9 size for my son who is 12. They are a little bigger but he can't go down a size (we tried) but even though they are bigger then are snug around his ankle they won't fall off. They are easy to slip on and off. The sand where we are gets really hot so it's nice to have them. Bottoms are hard but not to much with a soft top.

Fit well. After I washed them the first time the inserts came out. And after a few times wearing them in a row they make your feet stinky. Not sure if I really care for them to much. I do like the harder bottom on these than the other ones I had before though.

These work! My son is 18, disabled, and loves the beach. He can’t wear crocks or flip flops. These left a tan line, so UV is great! Easy to put on and take off. Very easy to rinse sand out.

Great packaging, I love how it fits, hugs my feet with enough pressure to stay on without being uncomfortable. Fabric is soft and breathable. Soles are thin and flexible while still being durable. No issues with slipping in them or having the insole separate from the shoe while walking. I bought two pairs, one for me and one for my partner. They were shipped separately and I didn’t get mine in time to take them to the water park. However, I got the wrong pattern (one that’s not even in the listing) and the edge of the top is fraying after only one visit to a water park (probably while sitting in the pool with our toddler). Still seems usable though.

Good for beach or if you like barefoot

I ordered these in a women's size 5/6 (I normally wear size 5 US) and they fit well enough. They are slightly too long in the toe area but it's ok. They fit snugly around my feet so I'm not concerned they'll slide off while I'm walking or swimming. I will be using them during my upcoming trip to Greece for the beach/snorkeling/pool. They seem to be well made, they are comfortable, lightweight and the thin, textured rubber sole looks promising for slippery surfaces at the pool. I don't believe they would provide sufficient support on rocky terrain or on a pebble beach though. I may be wrong about that so once I've had the chance to thoroughly test them out on this trip, I will update my review with my thoughts. For now, they seem plenty good to me for the pool and on a sandy beach. Edit 9/20/2023: So they are great for the pool or walking on the sand at the beach but, as suspected, I would not recommend these for any kind of rocky terrain. It will hurt lol. They are comfortable and held up well though (no wear or tear) so I will continue to use them again at the pool/beach for sure.
