White Feather Hosta - Perennial Shade Garden Flower Bulb

When this first started growing, it was WHITE and so awesome! I had never seen a white hosta. But as it grew a little, the base started to turn green. Now it's all a pale green. A let down that it's not white, but it's a healthy plant.

Product arrived dead. No return, so I am out the cost.

One is the most alive white hosta plant it has been ordered from Amazon, Delivered well- packaged, root is alive in excellent condition, started growing bigger, am ordering second hosta, recomended for purchase, thanks a lot to the Seller!

What a rip off. They were good root with a tiny white leaf when planted. But they grew and are now just standard small leaf boring hostas. The white was just a trick of keeping the plant out of the sunlight when the first leaf formed. Knowing that, it wasn't a "mistake" but something they did on purpose to sell a fraud. DO NOT BUY

Not white like photo of plant advertised. Disappointed

Definitely bare roots in my case. Reading other reviews it seems the plants are certainly a mix: some are dead, some are bare root, some are healthy, some are supposedly the wrong hosta. The roots on mine are huge, so will update this review accordingly as she grows and hopefully I can say that this was a nice healthy hosta. The roots need water so I soaked them and then got them into the ground in a nice shady spot to grow. Researched bare root planting on YouTube and was relieved I did it correctly. Usually my hosta orders are more advanced growths, so bare root is new for me. This will be kind of an experiment for me and will update progress as the White Feather progresses. As it is, however, these are very large, very healthy roots. Research on this particular hosta does state that it is a bit eccentric, so going to give it plenty of time and room to do its own thing and see how she turns out!

White Feather Hosta is lovely and a great addition to my Hosta bed. It was a little slow to grow at first, but has beautiful white leaves now. This plant DOES NOT like too much sun! The planting guide said to plant in shade, so it is potted and on our covered porch.Thank you for a lovely, unusual plant

I luv it bcuz it’s a “Hosta”, wats not to luv about Hostas rite..I pd th price for this bulb cuz I was expecting it to be “white”..except for new leaves just emerging, it has never been white..moving it into th deepest shade has not helped..any suggestions? I’m sure it will be a beautiful plant tho..maybe sumthing special down th road..or not..It’s part of th family now..
